My Fondness For this Classic Knows no Bounds

I have a fondness for this Herbie romp. The characters are all very engaging with great performances. I love that the kid has the nickname Ocho (5+3) for Herbie and that he's a pickpocket. And I love drive-the-plank sequence - it's just a masterpiece! I love the catchy song too. But most of all Harvey Korman and Cloris Leachman are god dame hilarious in this with some wonderfully staged scenes by Vincent McEveety. My only critique is the all-action final but Disney did car chases in just about every live-action comedy - so yeah there's that. I'm not ashamed to admit I have this on DVD and Laser Disc. And oh my kingdom for a 4K remaster!
