I Feel Fantastic (2004)
One of the scariest Monstrosities ever created
A masterwork of horror.
Horror in, my opinion, is the hardest genre to tackle as a filmmaker. You need ask yourself what makes something scary. Is it the blood? The graphic violence? The frightening situations you know you could find yourself in? The sharp teeth? The menacing displays of raw brute force?
No. Real horror is something that gets under your skin. Something you can't shake away. Something so subtle - but yet so terrifying. Something that you find so unpleasant- but you can't pinpoint a reason why.
This has no reason to be scary. It was created by a man with the intent to showcase his creation-a robot that he would program to sing. It is simply a video of a neatly dressed artificial woman in a house singing about her life "being fantastic." And yet it's the scariest thing I have ever seen.
This is true horror. Bravo.
No Time to Die (2021)
Smooth, Engaging, Terrific
A wonderful conclusion to Daniel Craig's bond and a solid james bond entry overall. Performances were incredible, from Lea Seydoux's mysterious, classy performance to Rami Malak's calm but menacing villain, akin to Cillian Murphy's villianous performances. And lets not forget Daniel Craig still kicking butt after 15 years as james bond. The blend of science fiction and realism worked well and was not overshot, The inventive action scenes (especially the opener, dang) and the nearly 3 hour run time helped solidify this as a 007 epic, and not just a fun distraction. Bravo.
Scott the Woz (2017)
Comedy Excellence And Some Gex On The Side
Let me start of by stating that this isn't you're average middle-aged white boy with glasses talking about Stupid Nintendo Games.
This is a full on SERIES. Complete with Lore, Character development, Netflix-length specials, and much, much more. Here you'll find Factual information on your favorite (mostly video-game based) subjects, Heroic Heroes preforming daring acts of Heroism (Such as the mighty Rex, Chaperone of Men or Terry Lesler, Certified Vegan), and Evil Villains ready to take over the planet. Oh, and also a middle-aged white boy with glasses talking about Stupid Nintendo Games. Do yourself a favor and watch one of the greatest web series to ever grace the internet.
Monsters at Work (2021)
Missing the Pixar Flare
If you are looking for some wholesome, fairly comedic entertainment for the kids, look no further. But if you are jumping into this hoping for a worthy follow-up to the first two films, with the same charm and wit, you won't find it here. This show lacks the heart, soul, and compelling characters that pixar is known for (Maybe because Pixar didn't even do this show *cough* *cough*), and instead comes across as an average disney channel film follow-up.
