The reasoning behind the cast especially the main character who is supposed to be an Afghan is portrayed by an South African Indian, who neither looks, talks or acts like a native Afghan. What is the point of the show if you won't cast a real Afghan? The fact that the creators didn't want a European looking Afghan is mockery of intelligence of viewers.

These types of shows are merely to satisfy American viewer fantasy of saving their colonial subjects.

This show among other typical movies are a prime example of satisfying their domestic viewers, and showing those soldiers that willingly went to Afghanistan as the victim and hero, these types of shows won't sway anyone with even a little enough knowledge of what has happened in Afghanistan.
