The Walking Dead (2010)
The Best!!!
I have been watching the Walking Dead since I found out about it during Season 2. I geek'd out so hard about it and I craved for more. This has been everything I wanted in a series. I have always loved pre and post apocalyptic genre's and that how people would interact with each other during. I see that now in our times with all that is going on in the world. Honestly, the last episode, I cried so hard, so many feelings hitting me all at once. I know Fear the Walking Dead will be on its last season and I know the Universe will not end. I am grateful for that and I cannot wait as well. To all the Biters, Geeks, Rotters, Walkers, and good old Zombies, thank you!
The Hunting (2021)
I liked it
I liked it because it wasn't as corny as I thought it would have been. Honestly a bit more budget and a better werewolf would have been awesome...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
What We Do in the Shadows: On the Run (2020)
Clever and Funny
I love this episode in particular, it makes me smile and laugh and I even talk about it to other people who don't know about What we do in the shadow series. I hope later season's they come back to it one more time, but no more, so no to kill it. Plus with the star wars in it at one point was very clever. Mark Hamil is some one to laugh with and at. I really wish I didn't have to do at LEAST 600 characters to finish this review. Seriously, I don't know what else to write about it, but that it was funny and clever episode. Ok this is ridiculous, I think I spelled that write. I think this should do it right about now.
Resident Evil (2022)
Loved it
I am a zombie whore when it comes to apocalyptic genre. I really liked this series and I do not understand why such bad reviews. The kids/teenagers are being teenagers, they aren't being anything else. I like how it is following the new movie that came out, so that makes sense. The Zombie's or Zero's as they call them, look pretty kool and the CGI overall is on point. I really hope at least one more season is made. I have played all the games, watched all the Movies and all the CGI series. This was just showing how it started in another point of view. The one's with ALICE are kool to watch, action flick, but nothing more. This series has flavor, has history that it can work more from. I gave it an 8 because I kinda didn't like how it kept going back and forth with the timeline, but I understand it was a way to tell the story. Hopefully, if ever a second season, at least one more season, that it will not be of the kids at all. Just all the future stuff. Otherwise I would have given it a 9.
Dark Winds (2022)
Couldn't stop watching
I liked this so much, I couldn't stop watching it, I Binged watched it all. I kept forgetting that it took place in the 70's and not a computer, cell phone, modern vehicle in sight. It did not take feel like it was in the 70's either. AMC is doing great things non stop. They take their time and get the job done unlike Netflix.
Another Life (2019)
Trudged through but it was worth it.
The first season really Pissed me off....all the whiners, mutineers, everything wrong with a a ship of 3rd class shipmates, which if you watch further into it, realize they were the 3rd class shipmates and makes sense on why they were so pissy, rude and more then half the time not wanting to or able to fallow orders. How ever, during the second season, this is the part I TRUDGED through. Is that the graphics are way more budget and the characters that are 3rd class started to die off. Their replacements being people who would and do the job properly in a 1st contact deep space exploration. Nico, or Nikko, forgot how to spell her name, was correct on everything. Holy cow, follow the captains orders, even if they seem weird...trust them. That is why they are there.
Colony (2016)
USA Network was and is wrong
The USA Network had something here and it was just dropped. Really bad ending, it was such a good series. Same with the series REvolution, ended because of supposedly bad ratings and some internal personal issues.
The Princess (2022)
action action and action
This was a good action flick. Something I think a lot of people would enjoy. No thought to really engage into this but just action. I don't know why it is rated below a 6 but oh well to each their own. Really liked the Credit Music to.
Star Trek: Discovery: Stormy Weather (2021)
Drama Drama Drama
Seriously, I like the idea of this season's arc. How ever, stupid little things throughout this season bothers me. For this episode in particular, is that fact the AI is more emotional then a Vulcan on Pon Far night with DATA and his Emotion Chip. All so, Captain stays on the ship, ok, kool, could have used a Shuttle Craft since it is inside the ship and with the EV suit on and she most likely wouldn't have almost died and or passed out. All so there is her BF's ship in the Docking bay...seriously!!!!
Last Seen Alive (2022)
Good enough
I like the actors in this, especially Butler.
How ever SPOILER: Cops Don't fire warning shots in the AIR to stop you. It's Illegal. DUH!
All so Butlers characters type of work he does, unless he did some military time, there is no way a guy like that would do any of this stuff.
World Ends at Camp Z (2021)
A Good Try
Yes, there is a lot of things they could have tried better. I'm gonna talk about the good stuff, yes it is a Zombie Flick. LOVE THAT. I see what they were trying to do on such a low budget. I am guessing they used a lot of their friends and friend's stuff. Really liked the area they did the filming in, very beautiful indeed. If I was stuck in the middle of a Zombie Apoc, some where like there would have been great. The real real real bad criticism I have to state upon, is that it took a realllllll long time to get to anything.
The Block Island Sound (2020)
You think you know but it's not
You think you know what it is but it is not what you think it is. If you pay attention, there is a lot of foreshadowing. Make dinner while watching this so that you'll have food during the middle and close to the end. Yes it is slow to start but it pays off.
Pacific Rim (2021)
Love Paficific RIM
I just binged watched season 1 and 2 and I am NEEDING a Season 3. I feel like more movies and series need to be more like this style of anime. Power Rangers, Transformers, etc... This was a good story and I can't wait for more.
In the Earth (2021)
Stunning
Overall stunning, beautiful to watch. Creep factor a lot, some light issues with people who might have epilepsy. Creepy reasoning is that I just got done watching a movie called, "Gaia," and that it was like related to this movie in some form.
Gaia (2021)
A prequel it seems
I gave this an 8 because the visuals are great. Creeped me out and I am glad I was not taking anything while watching this. I feel this is like what a prequel story could be for game, "The Last of US."
Moonfall (2022)
Visually Beautiful
Like everyone else is saying, it is visually BEAUTIFUL. Yes, it is like a few movies put together in one, so what!?!?!?!? Armageddon meets Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Meets Mission to Mars, MEETS Transformers BEAST WARS(if you get this part then you're like me).
Accident Man (2018)
ASSASINS
I love flicks like this, it was everything I needed to have a good night. I enjoyed every minute of it. It's no John Wick, but it was meant to be more comedic in a way. I saw there is going to be a #2 and I can't wait to see that.
Wyrmwood: Apocalypse (2021)
Overall Good Fun
Please watch the First one before watching this one. Honestly I loved it, cheezy AF and that to me is good for a Zombie flick. The Bad Guy Doctor toally reminds me of how Jim Carry plays Dr. Eggman in Sonic The Hedgehog. I swear though there was supposed to be a series for Wyrmwood. Not sure what happened there.
Pig (2021)
Us Men can cry
I tell you what, this movie got my tears flowing. Not one part of this movie was boring or slow. Usually I eat my dinner while watching movies, but I find myself putting my food down to really pay attention. You'll understand once you watch it of what a tear jerker this was.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010)
Lifts your spirit's
This movie always lifts my spirits if I am down. I love this movie and the characters and actors as well. It is in my top 10 films for semi horror comedy like Evil Dead for instance.
Vicious Fun (2020)
Fun with a smile
I enjoyed this way to much. I laughed, smiled, only once did I jump scare. Really liked each killers own theme. I almost felt like I was watching an anime with weird $H!7 going. SPOILER....watch after credits scene.
The Last Duel (2021)
BORING!!!
I love Ridley Scott's movies, I love medieval time movies, but this was so boring. It was 45 to long. It is a tragic story none the less, but the worse part of the move was the actors they chose for the film, except for Jodie Comer's character, she was amazing. Having Ben Affleck and Matt Damon and the guy from the new Star Wars movies, just made it unbelievable. Could have saved money, got other better and believable actors. I am not sorry, but I was falling asleep, looking on how much time was left.
Boss Level (2020)
ACTION
A great action, shooter up flick that on repeat doesn't feel repetitive. Only reason I give it a 8 but not higher is due to the end. I feel robbed!!!!
Dark Was the Night (2014)
Dark and Gritty
I was watching this to just watch something and have dinner. Next thing I know I am all into it and I got creeped out. Love the actor Kevin Durand in it, he never disappoints in what ever he is in. The Producer Dallas Sonnier is one of my favorites. Always has this Dark Theme to his movies.
The Standoff at Sparrow Creek (2018)
Good to watch
This was good to watch, it got intense on some points. I didn't know this was a Dallas Sonnier movie till today. His movies are always a darker lighting mood/theme. I am right now going through all his movies and leaving reviews due to the fact I enjoyed every one and I had no idea who he was till recently. Can't wait to see the upcoming movies right now.
