1066: A Year to Conquer England (2017)
What A Bore
I stumbled upon this on BBC Iplayer and thought it sounded decent. What it is, is 3 episodes of a host giving information on said subject and actors acting it out.
The information was decent but came across cringy as he tried to inject some excitement ininto it.
Then we had 3 people stood at a computer pretending to be the combatants of this battle giving their reasons on why they were invading.
Give it a miss
Wallace and Gromit in: A Close Shave (1995)
Stolen By A Sheep
This was the 3rd short of Wallace & Gromit and is also the debut of a sheep named Shaun.
Shaun steels the show here and became a star in his own right.
The story is someone is stealing sheep to make wool out of and jumpers etc. Then unbeknownst to Wallace & Gromit they get stuck in the middle.
This has comedy by the bucket load and needs to be seen
The Wrong Trousers (1993)
The Best One
I think this is the best one and it's my favourite one.
Here the animation is better and it has a better overall story.
The story is Wallace & Gromit are running low on money and decide to rent out a room to a penguin. The penguin then has evil motives.
There is plenty of comedy and action in this as it moves at quite a fast pace. Give it a watch.
A Grand Day Out (1989)
Cheese
This is the 1st short of Wallace & Gromit and it's a good jumping off point and one which launched a beloved pair of icons.
Here they are looking to go on holiday as Wallace loves cheese and upon looking through a few brochures, they decide to ho to the moon.
The comedy is spot in this and the animation is a bit hit & miss but it a good starting point.
Fast Layne (2019)
Watchable
It was a good and pretty watchable show about s girl named Layne Reed who is a time freak and likes everything to be thought out ahead of time.
Then she discovers a talking car named Vin, which turns her life upside down as bad guys want the car and everyone else.
Overall it's good but some of the acting is cringy.
Seven Worlds One Planet (2019)
Awesome
Yep, this was awesome and really upsetting, the amount of times I filled uo was unbelievable.
Here, Dave talks about various wildlife in different countries and each episode = a different country.
I thought it was funny when a Polar bear started playing with an anchor thinking Dave's crew wanted to play, and cute when baby chimpanzees were trying to crack something.
Even Dave was playful in his narrative form, give it a watch
The Sister (2020)
Quite Watchable
This was a pretty decent mini series that's about the guilt and aftermath of an event.
The show flits about here and there in time showing the lead up to said event but once it hits, the show stops jumping around.
There is a character in this that's odd and wonders of there are ghosts after we die, he is a famous radio medium (Derek Acorah like).
Russell Tovey is the star of the show and is becoming quite a good actor as he is branching out of comedy and started starring in more serious drama shows.
Give it a watch
Mighty Little Bheem: Diwali (2019)
A Cute Mini Series
This is 3 shorts about a strong Indian baby named Bheem, and it's the fastest TV show I've watched.
Episode 1 was about Bheem wanting to help his family, but was getting in the way.
Episode 2 is about Bheem's family going to see a massive bell and Bheem rings it causing chaos.
The final episode is about a thief wanting to break into a palace and using Bheem for evil.
It's a colourful show with no talking so kids will like it.
Red Dwarf: The First Three Million Years (2020)
Smegging Informative
This was a good and very informative documentary about the making of the comedy TV shoe Red Dwarf.
It goes into the behind the scenes, casting and recording tbe show, it even talks about the problems they had making it - like a strike just before they began filming.
The interviewees are the main cast and fans talking about how it changed their life and celebs talking about it too.
Give it a watch
Goedam (2020)
Quite Creepy
An anthology of shorts that tell various ghost stories in little 10 minute episodes.
The atmosphere is very creepy as I've noticed a lot of Asain horror films and shows have.
Some stories are better than others but that's what you get with everything. Give it a watch.
Danger Mouse (1981)
The Narrator Is Awesome
These cartoons bring back the memories of when I was a child and I never knew Count Duckula was in the show.
What we have here are little 10 - 20 minute episodes of a secret agent mouse (voiced by the legendary David Jason) and his side kick Penfold.
Then we have a bad guy named Green Back who is a frog that needs some cough medicine who tries to take over the world.
Also David Jason narrates the episodes and that alone is what you need to see these for.
The Lone Ranger (1938)
HI Ho Silver.... Away
This was a good serial about a sheriff of the old west getting shot and becoming The Lone Ranger, a fighter of evil.
The picture quality wasnt that great but it was watchable, and there was even some WWE movies in there before WWE. There was a John Cena Attitude Adjustment and a Randy Orton RKO.
The story wasnt as exciting as it would have been in the 30's but it was pretty decent.
Chip 'n Dale's Nutty Tales (2017)
Pretty Decent
These were short cartoons about the mischief that the 2 chipmunks Chip & Dale get upto and the disasters they cause when trying to help.
Little kids would like this and it features Minnie, Mickey and the rest of the cast. It is also CGI'd so it looks like the Clubhouse Series.
Give it a watch.
The Movies That Made Us (2019)
Shame About The Editing
I liked these as the films mentioned as the films I liked for the most part, the films talked about are Die Hard, Home Alone, Dirty Dancing and Ghostbusters.
I didnt like the way they edited it, making the interviewees sound thick and the narrator thinking he was funny by making jokes then it would cut to make the joke sound funny.

WWE: Bring It to the Table (2017)
Quite A Good Show
This was a fun and unscripted show that spoke about hot topics of the time. From subjects like Brock Lesnar joining UFC and John Cena leaving WWE.
Corey Graves was a good replacement to Paul Heyman but he dropped himself in it when he gave his opinion on Shane McMahon.
Overall I liked it and wished it continued.
