Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (2024)
Treyarch never disappoint
After the flop of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 last year I was not excited for the next Call of Duty until I played it. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 does everything right compared to Modern Warfare 3. Black Ops 6 has a campaign with meaning, no multiple plotholes, and your actually able to have control of your options unlike Modern Warfare 3. I wasn't a big fan of the zombie mission in Black Ops 6 nor was I fan of the open combat mission even though it had more meaning to it compared to Modern Warfare 3 open combat missions. The ending of Black Ops 6 in my opinion was disappointing, I'm hoping the ending doesn't get explained in future seasons of Warzone as not everybody plays it.
The multiplayer so far is great, I've hadn't had this much fun with multiplayer since Call of Duty Black Ops 4 which came out in 2018. Only problem is that the maps suck and I feel like the AI scorestreakes are very weak and they've been using the same scorestreakes for the last few years. It would have been nice to see the dogs or even the death machine to have returned.
Zombie's is fantastic, both of the maps are great and nice to see Gobblegums come back as everybody love them in Call of Duty Black Ops 3. My only down side to Black Ops 6 zombies I have no interest in the story. I think the story from zombies going back to Call of Duty Black Ops 2 was more interesting and I don't like the armored zombies in Black Ops 6 I they waste more of your ammo and your time.
Overall Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is a good game, it's not amazing or bad it's just perfect and hopefully it stays like that. It's the first Call of Duty game I'm having the most fun since Black Ops 4.
Undisputed (2023)
Probably the worst boxing game ever
Ohhhh boy where do I begin with this. I'll start off by saying that the fighting is pretty good to the point that your opponent will just start walking backwards for no reason or will just stand there in one spot and not move which just ruins the flow of the fight. The roster is absolutely terrible, there are around 20 big superstar boxing names on the roster and the rest you most likely never heard of. Most punches feel like they do nothing to the opponent e.g. Mickey Wards signature move is a left hook to the head and a left to the body and when you do that combo you might as well throw in the towel as it barley does any damage to your opponent.
Career is some what decent. I like the way you win money and gain fame from winning or losing your fights it's probably the only realistic part of career mode. When you start off your career mode most the opponents you fight are pretty much the same ones you fought in the amateur tournament ( if you decided not to skip it ) so its pretty repetitive. Also pointing out your opponent will throw equal amount of punches as you and they barley lose any stamina.
Character customization was something I was really looking forward for but of course my hype was shot down. Reason being most of the customization was all about changing the width and the size of the characters face, e.g. ( jaw, eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth) and also changing the abdominal muscles, back, chest, shoulder's you get the idea. They wasted there time putting in all that work of those aspects that nobody cares about where as they could have put in more hairstyles, tattoos, more boxing shorts, more boxing gloves, more boxing shoes etc.
Conclusion: If your going to buy this game thinking that it's going to be like Fight Night Champion don't, cause in my opinion it's nothing like it. Steel City Interactive no nothing about boxing and shouldn't have been giving the rights to make a boxing game. They couldn't even get well known music artists to do there soundtrack let alone them getting Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao who aren't actually on the roster.
I'm not going to give this game a rating below 5 as I still think there is still some chance for improvements but at the moment there isn't.
Alien: Romulus (2024)
Day one Alien fans will love this
I've grown up watching Alien and seeing an Alien movie in cinema was a great experience. I think any day one Alien fans will really enjoy this especially when it comes to easter eggs, references to the other films and reintroducing and old character from one of the previous films.
Things I loved about this movie in particular was the gravity scenes something we haven't really seen in previous title's. I love the old 70s style they brought back in some parts of the film from Alien 1979. Story overall was soild, lot of jumps scares which never catch me out lol.
My only problem with the Alien Romulus was I thought the characters are really forgetabble, the only who I think will be memorable from this movie is Andy and not so much the others.
Conclusion: Great movie, day one Alien fans will love this movie highly recommend.
Borderlands (2024)
Don't listen to the bad reviews
Don't listen to the bad reviews the problem is people expect far to much. Overall the movie was pretty solid, although I still think there could've picked actors to match more of the characters from the games I still think they done a good job. The combat scenes where great in this movie great action and some funny moments. When it comes to the games accuracy on custome design and art style I have to say they killed it in this movie. My biggest downfall for me personally is that the movie should have been a R rated movie. The borderland games have quite a bit of gore in it and unfortunately this movie has none of that:(. CGI was good but in some parts it looked a little cheap but overall great movie don't listen to all the bad reviews on it. I think people expect to much.
Assassin's Creed Mirage (2023)
A halfway trip down memory lane
Starting off I would recommend people to finish Assassin's Creed Valhalla as the ending of Assassin's Creed Mirage can be a bit confusing for people.
Assassins Creed Mirage is a breath of fresh air bringing us down memory lane by introducing some aspects of Assassin's Creed II etc, such as the bounty system and the atmosphere of what Assassin's Creed Mirage gives us. The fighting combat is one of the worst in the franchise, I think Ubisoft tried to base it off Assassin's Creed II which to me was good 14 years ago but not in today's games as it feels to linear.
The Story I really enjoyed and I thought the investigation board was good feature for the story. Characters are pretty good some are forget able but others like Basim and Roshan are memorable in the franchise in my opinion. The voice acting from the characters could have been better, I feel like Ubisoft recycled to many voice overs for NPC and a few side characters but hey you get that in most games. Map is great and exploration is fun, I like that were back to a medium scale map like Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Unity unlike Assassin's Crees Odyssey were it was to big and very synchronization points.
Conclusion: It's not the best or the worst AC game in the franchise, I think Ubisoft did a great job on most of the game and I feel like they listened to their fans on what they want unlike *cough cough Infinity Ward* 7/10 is a perfect rating for AC Mirage and I think any day one AC fan should give this a try, ignore the hate.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023)
Campaign is the biggest loss here
Start off by saying I've been playing Call of Duty for over 10 years and I've never played a Call of Duty with a bad ending like Modern Warfare III. They just made this to basically tell you that's there's going to be about squeal ( basically Modern Warfare IV). The combat missions are the absolute worst I rather be playing Warzone or a Tom Clancy open world game. Multiplayer I'll give a 8, it takes the cake here and Zombies I'll give a 7. Conclusion: It's not the worst Call of Duty or the best, the developers could've done so much more with the campaign, so I think a 5/10 is the perfect rating.
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022)
Started it off good then it got weird
I'm a big Weird Am fan and I couldn't wait to see this movie. Starting off it was good looking on what his childhood was like. Then later on in the movie you then Linda realize that some of the stuff in the movie actually never happened in Weird Al's life at all. I'm just goanna cut to the chase "it's a piss take of a piss take" the movie is just taking the piss out of Weird Al's life, it's like a biography movie at all. Some parts of the movie were funny and interesting. Cast of actors was great, I thought Daniel Radcliffe done a great job on playing the role of Weird Al. Not the movie I wanted.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022)
Great but not perfect
I've being playing Call of Duty since day one and the way Call of Duty has been since the last few years I have to say that this is amazing. It's amazing when it comes to the campaign, it gave me Modern Warfare 2 (2009) vibes by brining back old characters and adding references of other old characters. I really enjoyed the missions they were fun as hell. When it comes to multiplayer that's she was things kinda go down hill. Maps are decent a few bad ones, guns are good a lot to chose from but MW2 2022 is one of the worst hit maker COD games I ever experienced. Special Ops is fun very realistic.
