Una vida menos en Canarias (2024)
Good entertaining watch
Takes some inspiration from the british show Death in Paradise but is well made and fun to watch. The cases are good and the acting is solid and the locations are beautiful. Death in paradise has a lot more episodes and seasons and was superb all through so it is too early for a comparison with this one which is only five episodes old.
Each case is different and the plot twists are good. Though I watched it on Netflix with subtitles the acting was convincing enough to not let that distract too much from the experience.
I feel they could focus a little more on the other characters apart from the main ones, but that may be an area to explore for future episodes if they make more.
Overall I recommend it and think they should make more episodes as five is too less.
Killer Soup (2024)
So many loopholes
So many loopholes/illogical elements.
Why does Swati's phone not get detected as the inspector has called her phone too?
How does the inspector randomly land up at Umesh's workplace?
Why did Swati mention the locket at all?
Why did the inspector follow Swati when he was supposed to go to Umesh's house?
And strangest of all: it was an accident ( a hit and run). Why do the cops keep calling it a murder?
Why was Swati wearing a burkha to a cooking class?
Why did Swati fall for Umesh? Where would she even meet him?
People are discussing their criminal activities openly in a massage room..
They clearly don't know what facial reconstruction looks like
Hard to watch supposedly intellectual actors doing such drivel.
The list is endless.
