"Die Cleveren" is Germany's most intelligent series, there really is no better word for it. I enjoyed it immensely during season 1 - 4. The departure of Astrid M. Fünderich was a great loss for the series, because Glaser and Born were a a fantastic team with great dynamics. I have to agree with the person who posted above me, they, too, reminded me a little bit of Mulder and Scully from the X Files, also with the reversal of the typical male/female role, with Born being the thoughtful profiler and Glaser the resolute and cool agent. All in all "Die Cleveren" counts to one of the finer hours of German television and is worth watching!
