Brilliant Plot
I do not understand the 5.8 rating here as I write this review. The plot is brilliant, decent acting and fine photography. Many allusions make the fast-paced dialogues an intellectual pleasure.
Because I do not understand Spanish well, I watched it with English subtitles. Very much I repeated the dialogues so as not to miss a sentence. The movie caught me also emotionally and - no spoiler - there is a kiss in the end. Or almost the end... If you like political behind-the-scenes movies, this is a must. If you are interested in political marketing, watch it. And it is entertaining as well. What else do you expect here? Spoiler: no action scenes.
Death in Paradise (2011)
Stupid story
The series looked promising. But the plot is cheaply constructed. The murder takes place in a safe room that can only be opened from the outside. Really? How stupid is that? How much panic does it take to flee into a mousetrap that can't be left?
Watch it - but turn off your brain first.
