Transylvania Twist (1989)
Great movie, or just generally well liked?
This movie is so incredibly stupid, but it's still one of the most enjoyable films I have ever seen. It is one of those ridiculous movies where everything that happens is totally silly and whacked out.
The plot revolves around a guy named Dexter Ward,who works for a library and must search out the Book of Ulthar which is 200 years overdue. That concept alone pretty much tells what the rest of the movie is like. The characters are all a little odd to say the least, like Victor van Helsing, the fearless vampire hunter, played by the B-Grade actor extraordinare Ace Mask. One of the more amusing scenes features a flashback to van Helsing's youth, in which the child portraying him has a moustache and gets in trouble at school for staking one of his classmates (who just happens to be a vampire dressed in a little Dracula-type costume). I also liked the part where van Helsing is talking about a book that caused two brothers to never speak to one another again. When asked what that book was, he replied that it was either the Book of Ulthar or the latest Jackie Collins novel. Robert Vaughn is enjoyable also with his over-the-top acting that made him such a favorite with Roger Corman fans.
This movie is so much fun on so many levels. The comedy is so crazy that half the time you're laughing at the hilarious acting and dialogue and the other half of the time you're laughing at the sheer stupidity of what is supposed to be funny.
I definitely recommend this movie to fans of Roger Corman flicks and fans of the Zucker and Abrahams movies.

Before I begin I would just like to say, THE MUSIC IS THE BEST PART OF THE MOVIE...NO FOOLIN' MAN! This Film is part of a balanced diet of murder and intrigue..well sort of. I would base my semi-professional reputation on it. "He was forty-three"."What, an old man"? Jim is the coolest guy in town, I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE HIM. HEY I'M HALF WAY THERE ALREADY MAN, WHAT ARE YOU LOOKIN' AT? EAT YOUR ICE-CREAM! Enough ranting, just go see it already! 10 stars plus 10 equals ZOMBIE NIGHTMARE!
From Beyond (1986)
They are Child-Proof locks Doc, HAHAHAHAHA!
Well, what do I say about such a beautiful film. for one thing we only get to see jeffrey combs healthy for about 2-minutes. And the other thing not enough BOOBS. Well they show the ugly guys quite a bit, but that is not what I want to see. and when that black guy dives down the stairs in his barely there undies, I COULD DO WITHOUT THAT! Besides those bad parts, there are plenty of good ones to even it out. Not scary, but interesting and funny...TRUST ME(another great film). RUN TO YOUR LOCAL VIDEO OUTLET AND GET THIS CLASSIC!
Re-Animator (1985)
Great effects, Great Combs, Great Gobs of Crampton!
Wow I almost thought I died and went to heaven! This movie had absolutly nothing wrong with it? Jeffery Combs is a Great mad scientist, and don't we all know it. The only thing that could have made the movie any better would be, playing the song zombie ritual during the credits. I recommend it to all who love a good bloody movie.
Puppet Master 4 (1993)
Now the puppets are good guys!
This is strange and unlike the other puppet master movies in the series. But it is funny in many ways, for instance take Cameron's high pitched shrieking of obcenities, and the Head monster at the Beginning is Hilarious looking HA HA HA. I was very pleased the girl who plays Lauren, man is she attractive or WHAT? The puppets are good guys who have to fight off Evil? What happend to the Evil gene and the lust to get brain chunks HUH? Well it's pretty cool that they are good though. The soundtrack by Quiet Riot and Joker is the icing on the cake for me. Watch this movie it's not that long. and its pretty GOOD.
Trancers III (1992)
They're back, and this time they're refined.
The Trancers have returned and now they are being trained in military fashion.DIRTY HARRY'S ANDREW ROBINSON plays an excellent col. mutha, I THINK.Jack is sent down the line to stop col. mutha, will he do it? Since there are two sequels I think you know the answer to that. New character Shark is interesting indeed, like when he bumps his head on the TCL chamber before bashing a cop. Good Movie
Subspecies (1991)
No, No Radu!
It hasn't been since '91 that I've seen it but boy do I remember it. It scared the shatner out of me since I was only ten.Radu was simply HORRIFYING TO ME,GIVE ME THE BLOODSTONE,PLEASE. The little red dudes are great for what ails ya'. I don't know what was scarier, radu or RADU. The costumes were great, the settings were neat-o. I thought it was very nicely done indeed. If you can find it RENT IT TODAY!
