Featured review
After years of hearing both this song as performed by Cheech (in falsetto voice portraying Tyrone (Tie-your-own) Shoelaces) and Chong (piano) as well as the original recording it was parodying ("Love Jones" by Brighter Side of Darkness), I finally watched the cartoon video made of this on Vimeo. It depicts the Tyrone character from baby to his celebrity status in the familiar '70s-style animation one would recognize if one had grown up during the era (as I did). I liked it plenty. So that's a recommendation of Basketball Jones.
