Really enjoyed the wonderful camera work and interesting information about the three great rivers. The little film at the end of each segment about the work that went into the filming was also very informative.
Whilst David Oyelowo is a very good actor his narration skills are somewhat lacking, halting and lacklustre would be the best description .
This BBC nature series has three episodes; Nile, Amazon, and Mississippi. It highlights both the human and animal worlds. Mississippi has more human world. Quite frankly, that river is the most developed and human activity is unavoidable. The other two are more of a mix. The Nile has much more animals. The Amazon is more half and half. The cinematography is as beautiful as ever and I did learn new things. By traveling down these rivers, there is a better appreciation of the waterways as a whole. One is traveling down the river like Huck Finn. David Oyelowo's narrations. Sounds good with a hint of British accent. There is a future series listed as Earth's Great Rivers II.
