Tushar Pandey (Surjo) played a college student also in another movie released in the same year as Hum Chaar. The title of the movie is Chhichhore. It went on to become a hit unlike Hum Chaar.
The song Prem Ratan Dhan Payo from a movie of the same title was played by the music band in the wedding procession scene.
The film did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
