I'm not sure why this movie is listed as a comedy. It's not really funny at all. I guess there are a few parts that could be called amusing. But there aren't any laugh out loud parts. It's the story about a dysfunctional fIndian family that I think are living in South Africa. It doesn't really say, but that's my guess.
They reunite after their father dies. Then we get a closer look at the three girls and their brother. They're all messed up, especially the brother who has both a drinking and gambling problem In fact he owes so much money, he's threatened by a female gangster to cough up the dough or suffer the consequences.
I must say, there is some beautiful music in the score. And the acting isn't bad. SO if you're in the mood for some family drama, you just might enjoy this one!

I really enjoyed this film. Can't believe I only watched it now and it was released in 2019
Thank you for making the Indian community in South Africa sound normal and not stereotypical. The drama is there, the laughs are there and they showed off beautiful Durban.
Like most families who come looking for the pot of gold when the father dies - this family experiences that. Just shows that no matter how well you were raised, you make your own choices and become the person you are. You must take responsibility for who you are.
The cast was really good. The cream of the crop on South Africa and they all performed so well. Congratulation's to the film makers - i hope you get the support you deserve.
