This great picture involves deep drama, emotion , father-daughter relationship , human values and a provoking story about people
suffering difficulties and deaths . In ¨Mediterraneo¨ , three Goya Awards endorse this great production dealing with the complex journey undertaken in September 2015 by two lifeguards from Badalona, Oscar Campos and Gerard Canals, after seeing the terrible photograph of little Aylan Kurdi lying lifeless on the shores of the Mediterranean. In the words of Oscar Camps: ¨Nobody went there except backpackers and volunteers alarmed at what was happening¨
This is an intense drama with plenty of emotion , moving scenes and sensational performances . The incredible and enjoyable story about a few good men , Spanish lifeguards, who risked their own life to save many others. The movie is set on the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Mediterranean sea. This is a well paced flick , a satisfying journey of love , justice and self-discovery amidst people fleeing the war in Syria . Concerning solidarity people helping unfortunate migrants who risk their lives across the sea. It displays great feeling , thrills , and provoking drama in which some heroes take on strong choices surrounding humanitarianism . Shot after more than four years of documentation in which producers and director Marcel Barrena worked side by side with the Open Arms team, the film shows the anonymous heroes of that NGO and their fight against deaths at sea . The main cast : Eduard Fernández, Dani Rovira, Anna Castillo, Àlex Monner are pretty good with special mention for Eduard Fernandez who's terrific . And more than 100 extras, mostly refugees in the Greek camps, are also part of the cast
It displays Kiko de la Rica's gorgeous cinematography creating an adequate environment , shot on various locations in Lésvos, Greece , Néa Makri, Athens, Greece and Barcelona, Spain As well as Arnau Ballester's sensitive, moving musical score. This is an inspired story from director Marcel Barrena , who wrote too , basing on real events . Marcel won Gaudí Award with his movie debut, the acclaimed TV movie "Cuatro estaciones".
