"Jaskier" is the Polish word for "buttercup". In the English translation of the book, Jaskier the bard is called Dandelion.
The parts of this episode following Geralt's and Jaskier's exploits are based on the story "The Edge of the World", as found in the book "The Last Wish".
First appearance in the series by Joey Batey playing the part of Jaskier, a character who also crops up in the prequel series, The Witcher: Blood Origin (2022).
