I never thought a historical drama can be enjoyable and romantic. A must watch drama and i love how the history is implemented alongside the storyline effortless without being too packed with facts. Love the romantic aspect and comedy in this drama. A drama with all the good things 😍 😍

I learned some history and enjoyed this drama with amazing twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat! The acting is excellent. The viewer is transported back to the historical Kingdom of Ayutthaya. It's exciting! There is everything from royal backstabbing to squabbling servants. Watching this I learned about the historical figure Constantine Phaulkon, a Greek adventurer in ancient Siam, and much more history and culture brought to life. This show captured the hearts of a big TV audience in Thailand and I can see why. It was a hit show because it's fantastic and very well done.

As non Thai but from South East Asian, before watching this I was only exposed to 3 types of Thai video Genre. 1. Thai Kick Boxing (Ong Bak), Ghost stories or inspiring/ funny advertisement. Thanks to Netflix for suggesting this. It was lazy Saturday afternoon when I start watching this and the 1st episode was hard to swallow and doesn't really grab me. The only thing that makes me stay watching was Ranee Campen. Halfway pass... the story, the acting, the scenes hooked me!. It's a nice rom-com set around the majestic Thai kingdom giving the historical aspect with the up to date flavour. Please...please.... expand the story so I can enjoy it for another year.....s

This is my favorite Thai lakorn. I watche dit twice on Netflix because of its good scriptwriting, acting, costuming, and set production.
