Disney used to use Disney Movies, TV Shows to teach, instruct, and provide some kind of "moral compass", to children, teens, even adults.

So far Episodes 1 to 7.

Layne lies to Parents repeatedly without any adverse consequences, so unlike other previous Disney Movies, TV Shows, that depict some very adverse consequences to Liars, Cheaters, Thieves.

Zora (Sofia Rosinsky) the turkey leg eating drummer girl, Home Schooled gets a 96 on Test, accurately states the difference between Home Schooling and Democrats U.S. Labor Union Owned Teachers and Professor preaching Democrat Propagnda instead of Teaching anything useful (I used to be one of those Democrat U.S. Labor Union Owned Teacher, High School Advanced Science and Advanced Mathematics, so I KNOW what I was Required to do to remain a Democrat U.S. Labor Union Member of 4 Labor Unions "a Member in Good Standing" to that I could continue to Teach, have a job.

Before you even say no no not Democrat, yes, yes, right there a High School at the Democratic Party's Headquarters City of Chicago, I also worked part time at the Democratic Party's Headquarters, what was happening was Democratic Party National (Entire U.S.) Policy. This is one of the Main Reasons why U.S. Citizens Must NOT pay for other peoples childrens Schooling, to be "Indoctrinated", "Brainwashed" with Democrat Propaganda that I was Required to do (you try and do that while teaching Advanced Science and Advanced Mathematics to High School Students). That's Reality, I was so glad to get Recalled to Active Duty U.S. Military Joint Services Special Warfare Officer to possibly get shot and killed or blown up, instead of being a Democratic Party disposable "Tool".

Knight Rider rip off, BUT, what seems to be a good & funny one, I'm 50, so !, but we'll see how this pans out, has promise, short plot line per episode, and not dragging the plot of each, so far!

I absoutely love this show I can't wait to see more of it I also hope they continue it on past Season 1 I really wanna see what happens after Season 1.this show is so good words can not describe how good it is. I find myself watching the epsoides over and over again more than once.

I remember watching this limited series last year on Disney Channel and it was entertaining and pretty good for a Disney series made for children. It really was better off as a limited series with 8 episodes with the continuous plot wanting more while they obviously had a really good budget. I do know that they won't bring it back with a second season as they already passed on the project.

Basically 2/3 Knightrider and 1/3 Herbie the Love Bug. Good directing, acting, editing, and special effects make this much much better than you would expect from a limited budget Disney sitcom. I found it appealing for all ages. The 8 episodes complete a story-arc so you can watch it and feel satisfied. (but wanting more!)

Sophie Pollano plays Layne Reed, a tightly scheduled over-achiever with two scientists for parents. Sofia Rozinsky plays Zora, Layne's best friend, a rebellious home-schooled girl living across the street. Brandon Rossel as Cody looks like a young Fonz or Teen Beach Movie biker. He provides Lane with help and a budding romantic interest. Winslow Fegley as Mel, is Layne's annoying cousin who ultimately redeems himself.

The opening premise is that Lane hears someone calling for help from her neighbor's abandoned shed. She investigates and discovers VIN, a car with artificial intelligence and the maturity of a child. Get ready for cars chases, crazy stunts and sarcastic humor.

The producers hoped for a TV series but only got a contract for an 8 episode mini-series. Reportedly, Disney exec's wanted more of a silly Love-Bug story line. This puzzled me as I don't care much for Love Bug.

This show is Not inappropriate for kids. It is more of a show for pre teens tho. Fast Layne is entertaining. I watched it when it first came out and was upset when there was no second season.

It was a good and pretty watchable show about s girl named Layne Reed who is a time freak and likes everything to be thought out ahead of time.

Then she discovers a talking car named Vin, which turns her life upside down as bad guys want the car and everyone else.

Overall it's good but some of the acting is cringy.
