Evil Bong 777

The title of this film Evil Bong 777 is a pun for Las Vegas (where of course a majority of the film takes place), as well as a continuation of the sixth film (Evil Bong 666). It starts with a recap of Evil Bong 666 as this film is a direct sequel with the same recurring cast.

As noted, part 6 was the weakest of the franchise as it felt bizarre, random and not inspired. Now this seventh film is a slight improvement (there is a better plot, and more focus on the supporting characters as opposed to Mindy Robinson's character). The Gingerweed Man is a nice touch. Still the film isn't great and most of its jokes falls flat.

With a shorter run time this does move pretty quickly (which is for the better). We are far removed from the first three Evil Bong films. It went from stoner comedies to bizarre stoner fantasy types.
