Its a movie set in late 90s . Foreign retuned loud obnoxious Ramya is typical " western " in her dresses and thoughts . with skimpy clothing and absolute contempt for Indina rituals nad customs. Her brothers and sisters in law bear her quitely affectionately . during one debate with women's group , she vehemently supports dating marriage . she will live a man for 6 months amd marry him only when she likes him . She picks up country bumpkin Sriknath for this role who agrees without a second thought .though intiitally shocked , both families agree . they sign on a stamp paper and start living together in a nearby guest house . predictably they consumate their relation in a few days and a fdw duets later and she gets pregnent . in the meanwhile 6 months pass and its time for htier marriage as Ramya agrees that she likes him. At the time of marriage Srikanth backs out . The back ground story is that Srikanth's brother in US was teased and cheated by Ramya a few years back. To avenge his death Srikanth had played along . Ramya faces many hardships in this process . She ends upkilling her freind who feigns support but tries to molest her . she gives birth to her child but its taken by some one else . All this mellows her down . In the end Srikanth comes out in spport of her , she redeems and quitely follows Srikanth with head bent after a short lecture by her in laws on Indian customes and traditions . Jayasudha shines in her small roles as a judge. Ramya wears ridiculosly short tight clothes to show her western up bringing and later turns to sarees to show her demure status . Srikanth is passable as a country bumpkin . A couple of duets have catchy beats . A family movie .
