Heading out to a remote cabin-in-the-woods, a group of friends decide to hold a special retreat as their last chance to be together for a while but when they realize that a band of masked intruders has crashed their trip intent on killing them one-by-one and must try to get away from the maniacs alive.
This one was overall nothing special. This is pretty much only fun for the actual games played during the invasion where they go about trying to play some disturbing and demented games to get inside. The stress built up from before, the chaos of finding themselves stuck against the invaders who have the upper hand against them and the ability to constantly get them to do things that play into their hands by grabbing the group individually to play games with them makes for a somewhat thrilling time here. Given that this has some action and intensity with the confrontations as well as providing some gore, this is about all that works for this one. This one does bring about some distressing issues. One of its main problems is the fact that absolutely nothing happens for a large part of the film as we get to know everyone involved. The whole group arriving and hanging out together serves this one well to get a little introduction going, but hardly any of them are memorable or even interesting with one couple trying to keep a pregnancy a secret, another is trying to make plans to spend more time together after school and the useless secrets that are brought up to try to put stress and strain on each other just doesn't provide this with anything worthwhile. As none of them are interesting and this sort of behavior makes it hard to believe they'd all want to be friends anyway, it takes a toll on the film as a whole. Likewise, that causes the other problem here in that the pacing to this one is so staggered and off-set that it's quite land and dull for the most part. Rather than be around anyone interesting, this setup provides such an overlong introduction before anything happens that it's quite easy to forget the actual home invasion part of the storyline. For such a short-running film as it already is to begin with, featuring these numerous uninteresting plotlines as much as it does since this goes way past the halfway point before they even attempt to enter the house even with those cleverly-missed news pieces which just makes the film a slough through the first half. That hardly any of it is interesting Lastly, even though the finale has the best aspects here it's still undermined by several rather large problems. The main issue here is the fact that so much of this one is so dark that it's nearly impossible to make out what's going on. With all the electricity drained and being forced to wander around in the dark trying to keep themselves wandering around in the darkness which means that it's nearly impossible to tell what's happening as that just keeps this quite difficult to make out. This is all coupled with the utterly moronic decision-making they display which keeps this moving along for the sake of the story which is always problematic with very little smart decision-making throughout here, and with an infuriating finale that doesn't offer any resolution at all there's a lot wrong with the film.
Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.

This movie had such a slow start and by slow I mean at a snails pace with bad acting. It did get a little more interesting after the first kill but relatively was a boring movie with a little gore.

This was dire. The 'knocking' party only arrive about 3/4 of the way through the movie. Up till then we have the most stilted dialogue and woeful acting I've seen in a movie for a long time. Then clowns show up, cut the power and the rest of the film was totally dark. Some good sound effects: ah, splurge, blat, squish. And that was that. I have no idea who lived or who died, but more to the point I have no interest in finding out either.
Do not waste your time. I wasted mine for you.

There are zero redeeming qualities about this low-budget film. Long weird shots of nothing, terrible acting and character building, no ending at all. I have never written a review for anything in my life, but I felt the need to save some people an hour and 20 minutes of their time. Do not watch this movie.
There are some questionable performances on top of most of the characters being unlikeable except for the brothers. The pacing is slow but it worked for me. The last half of the movie is entertaining and the movie overall is relatively gripping. The ending is surprisingly bleak and ballsy. To close, I don't think the movie is anywhere close to being trash. I expected and I have seen much worse than this.

Remote cabin, no shotgun? If they'd had a way to defend themselves, this premise would be over in three minutes.
Geez.
Weak story, sketchy editing, horrible music. Terrible, terrible acting and torture porn.

It was pretty scary and had some memorable kills in it. Nothing really groundbreaking but very watchable. I enjoyed it overall. If you like The Strangers, you will probably like this.
The movie has a bunch of flaws. They bring up Derrick's ex-con history/criminal background so much it's obnoxious. They act like they're sitting with a terrorist over a young kid "stealing a car".
The lights going out halfway through made some of the film hard to track narratively but it still works.
The acting is pretty goofy and the characters are one dimensional.
That said; it's entertaining. It's not boring and it's fairly gripping. The deaths accompanied by some decent ADR sound effects are pretty brutal. It does not pan out the way you think it will and then last act brings this completely hopeless and bleak tone to the film and I actually like the way it ends. Watch it. It's worth the watch.

One of the bad movies ever made. Film director deserves a golden turkey award. Don't waste your time.

This was the worst movie ever made. The lamest last weekend get-together ever had. Whoever wrote this obviously never had any friends, never had a party and never had any fun. 10 minutes after arriving at their destination I couldn't wait for someone to show up and start killing them.

This movie starts off pretty slow but once it gets going it's truly disturbing. Frightening in many parts and the production values are good. The acting was hit and miss but that's to be expected in these types of movies. The only thing that hurts this film is the abrupt ending which... well, I won't give anything away and will let you judge for yourself. Overall, decent but needed another ten minutes in the finale to really finish the film on a better note.

I turned this on thinking it was going to be a mindless horror movie but there are some scenes in this movie that REALLY stuck with me. It's clearly a low budget production and these movies are usually so bad I turn them off within five minutes but this one was much better than any of the other ones I've seen on Tubi. I highly recommend it.

It's slow but it creepy. I went into it not expecting much and I was surprised. It's worth a watch. Some of those characters were annoying as hell tho.
