Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting’s throwback slasher We Might Hurt Each Other (formerly Pensive) is Now Streaming on our Screambox platform beginning today!

The bloody Lithuanian teen horror film was directed by Jonas Trukanas and stars Gabija Bargailaite (Pilgrims), and calls back to slasher classics like Friday the 13th.

In fact, this is Lithuania’s very first slasher movie!

Inspired by local legends, We Might Hurt Each Other follows a group of privileged high school classmates. After these classmates destroy a set of life-size wooden statues during a wild graduation party, a mysterious masked killer begins picking the group off one by one.

These days, you can probably find Brec Bassinger — who starred in The CW’s Stargirl and will portray the title character in Vc Andrews’ Dawn (premiering Friday, July 8 at 8/7c on Lifetime) — scrolling through book content on TikTok.

“[It Ends with Us scribe] Colleen Hoover actually got me back into reading, and since then I’ve just gone all over the place,” Bassinger tells TVLine. “My TikTok is all BookTok now.”

Saban Films will release alligator horror movie The Flood this summer, and our friends over at Upcoming Horror Movies have shared new images and new poster art this week.

The action-horror movie hits Theaters, On Demand and Digital on July 14, 2023. The premise suggests a Syfy-style monster movie – alligators inside a prison – but the execution looks a lot closer to Alexandre Aja’s Crawl than anything you’d find on the Syfy network.

Devanny Pinn has almost 90 screen acting credits to her name, with many of those credits being for roles she has played in horror film. Credits include Frost, Death Count, Pretty Boy, The Sunday Night Slaughter, The Dawn, Crossbreed, Death Hotel, Lilith, Party Bus to Hell, Scary Story Slumber Party, Dwelling, House of Manson, The Devil’s Nightmare, The Black Dahlia Haunting, and The Los Angeles Ripper. Now The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that Pinn is making her feature directorial debut with a thriller of her own, a 1970s serial killer tale called Black Mass, which started filming in Los Angeles last Friday.

Inspired by real events, Black Mass is set over a 24-hour period in Florida during the winter of 1978 when college girls were being stalked by a serial killer. Eric Pereira and Brandon Slagle wrote the screenplay.

Andres Dominik’s buzzed about Marilyn Monroe picture Blonde will head to France’s Deauville American Film Festival (September 2-11) after its Venice world debut, where lead actress Ana de Armas will be feted with its Hollywood Rising Star Award. Following the murder of her family at the hands of her father in the wake of World War I, a young woman is sent to live in a convent up in the North East. However, the demons that plagued her father follow her, reawakening the nightmares of her past. Starring Devanny Pinn as Rose, with a cast including Stacey Dash, Ryan Kiser, David Goryl, Heather Wynters, Teilor Grubbs, Jonathan Bennett, Julie Rose, and Andrew E. Wheeler. It mostly seems like yet another cliche religious horror story, but damn this trailer has some extra creepy imagery - that long black hand, all the screaming, freaky nuns galore, and a bit more.

Set after WWI in the United States, The Dawn tells the story of a woman who is sent to live in a convent in order to pick up the pieces of her life after experiencing a family tragedy. Brandon Slagle directs the completed feature in which a young woman in post-World War I United States is sent to live in a convent after her father takes the lives of her entire family. As she matures, she comes to realize the same demons that plagued her father have followed her into the convent.

Throughline Entertainment brokered domestic rights. Vertical has also taken rights for the Caribbean. Kaleidoscope handles international sales and will release in the UK.

Pinn and Ryan Kiser produced under their Jaguar Cinema label from a script by Slagle and Elliot Diviney. The film marks the feature film acting debut of Grubbs who plays series regular Grace Williams on Hawaii Five-0.

Stacey Dash, the “Clueless” actor and former Fox News personality, was arrested for domestic battery on Sunday in Pasco County, Fla.

According to a police report, Dash became involved in a verbal argument at roughly 7:45 p.m. She allegedly pushed the victim, resulting in a red scratch marks on the victim’s arm, and then slapped the victim.

The authorities did not identify the other party under a state law protecting victim confidentiality, but Dash’s representative identified the person as her husband, and said the two were involved in a marital dispute.

“The marital dispute, while personal and unfortunate, has since been blown out of proportion,” Dash’s manager said in a statement.

Dash was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic battery and transported to the Land O’ Lakes detention facility on Sunday night. According to Dash’s manager, her husband appeared in court on her behalf on Monday,...
