Roger Ebert: ...Who are stoned out of their minds and having these meaningless conversations: "Who is God?" "Does God exist?" "Is there an afterlife?" Let me try something on you here. I've never snorted cocaine, so I can't know this for sure, but I'll bet that if you began by being wasted, snorted cocaine, drank, and passed out, and were awakened by a phone call and went to a party and spent the next three hours snorting unlimited amounts of more cocaine and drinking tequila out of a bottle, you would not be able to TALK.
Richard Roeper: Yeah, and yet they're able to articulate these Philosophy 101 arguments.
