Minnal Murali is the first Malayalam movie to be in the Top 10 worldwide view list from India. It also has become the 1st Malayalam movie to be in the Top 5 of Non-English movies in the worldwide list during its first week.
Vlad Rimburg is the action director for Minnal Murali. Previously known for his works in Netflix Original Lucifer, and Indian movies like Brothers, Bahubali 2, and Sultan.
Netflix India roped in WWE star Great Khali and former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh to promote the movie with special promotional videos.
The film took overall 3 years to develop.
