I was a bit disappointed in this very amateurish production. Shame as the story had some potential.
The directing made this movie impossible to get into. The wrestling aspect was cool and was a saving grace and it's always great to the legend Mr.Asner. Just wish an experienced director was in charge because this is very forgettable.

Even before we reach the end of the 30 minute exposition (which takes up 1/3 of the film) the way in which the film begins is cringey (to the point where it's almost unwatchable) and incredibly unengaging.
The dialogue is awkward and doesn't suit the characters, and the action was overexaggerated and unrealistic. The idea had merit, but the way in which it was told was beyond poor.
The editing on the film takes it into a whole other level of ridiculous (especially in one particular scene where they decided to slow down the footage for dramatic effect and throw terrible reaction shots into the sequence).
The acting wasn't particularly great but then again the cast was mainly comprised of children so I imagine the fault for the lies with the Director.
It looks like a middle school media club project.

First of all this is a kids movie. So why do adults come on here leaving a review as if they are expecting this to be a Star Wars level production? Sheesh give me a break! My kids like this movie, and I'm sure your kids will too. Actually anyone who likes watching a bunch of Christmas movies during the Christmas holiday season will love this movie, but just know it's made for kids!!! sheesh!

First off, everything in this film is masterful from the acting to the cinematography to the music. Everything is at its peak. The highlight of this film is the actor who plays Danny, Jack Brunault, he kills it. He's definitely going places!
