It's an interesting story-line as well as a fairly accurate historical accounting/background of the oldest verified prison gang in U. S. history. Some of this I learned about while growing up and other pieces were filled in by people that I knew. Certainly a notorious lifestyle!

Poorly acted, slow paced. The story is interesting but the awful acting, pacing, armature filming get in the way.

I doubt that you can last longer. Did a check on the 10 star reviews showing only one review of course fake. Every character talks slow and in broken sentences to portray them as bad ass and dark. Annoying enough to tap out before the initial scene was even finished.

It would be disrespectful to the word "garbage"! If I was to say that's what this movie is! For students in film and acting this shows you ANYONE can make a movie. And goes to show you people will pay you as long as you can a story. Just look at Nick Nolte in Tropical Thunder. They believed his bull****

This is my very first review, that's how bad this was. I really wanted to like it too. I like the story but everything about this is just so bad. It's so slow paced. The acting is bad and slow. Trying to be "fancy" with all these camera angles, ugh. Unnecessary slow motion shots. The music used to create suspense isn't even needed.

I love how close to the truth this film is. There have been many renditions of this story but this one includes a great many details that the other films did not disclose. There obvious challenges in the film but the messages are really powerful.

Randy Williams, who played Charles Manson, should get an Academy Award.
