Features many characters first introduced on Digitiser, the gaming pages of ITVs teletext service, during the 1990s.
The production is inspired by Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Paul Rose wrote on Twitter from a question by Twitter user sks2002, asking if Found Footage is inspired by Jam and Tim and Eric Awesome Show which Paul responded "Not Jam. I was never actually a fan of Jam, despite loving CM's stuff. The editing was definitely influenced by T&E, but it was as much about trying to find a way to make old Digitiser-style humour work, and making stuff look old and glitchy seemed to fit"
