My 10 year old daughter loved this!
I sat down and watched this with my 10 year old daughter recently and we both loved it! It was nice to have a show we could both watch and not have to worry about censoring and hear her laugh at all the punch lines!
Awesome family fun.
This is a great show! Our entire family loved it. It was a great break from the everyday hassles of life. It had a little something for all the ages in our household. The characters are funny and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
Clever and well done! Highly anticipated.
Sat with my son and 80 year old mother and all of us were laughing to the point of stomach cramps. I mean if a 7 year old, a 40 year old and 80 year old can laugh at the same things, They are clearly doing something right!! They had laughs for the entire family. I can see a bright future for a show like this and quite frankly very surprised this hasn't gotten picked up by a major network yet. I mean the pilot alone is better then 80% comedic TV series currently airing. I can not wait for the series to release, anyone know where I can sign up for updates?
Honestly, the pilot was fantastically written with the perfect amount of wit and drama. Makes me wish I worked at cinema 6! This show will definitely be a family favourite.

We've watched it so many times
We were so happy to come across this pilot, our whole family haswatched it over and over. When will there be more? So many questions! Does the adorable Jordan really need glasses? How did Rebecca end up in this mix? What happened to cinema six?
We love the writing, the characters, the story lines. We are awaiting more!! We want to see where this story goes.

My daughter said no to this "not ready for prime time" pilot
After the first 10 minutes I had to give up watching this over conceived "comedy" pilot. It was more than cringe-worthy. None of the characters, with the exception of Rebecca played by Felicia Simone (who simply reacts or doesn't in any dramatic way), have any basis in reality.
I am reminded of the character Kirk Lazarus played by Robert Downey, Jr in the 2008 comedy "Tropic Thunder" when he says: "Everybody knows you never do a full retard."
What this pilot does with most of the characters is that they do not have a basic human side to them. They are overdone. They are simply props upon which to to hang bad jokes.
It is almost as if the writer or a committee sat down and brainstormed to come up with the most outrageous and inept characters and plot points.
The only good idea was using a movie theater as the location for this turkey. After all, out of all the movies produced in the last hundred years only less than five percent have any merit and are worth watching.
To be fair, one cannot review a show by only watching ten minutes of it. Be assured dear reader, I took the time to watch the whole thing. This time with my 13 year old daughter.
My daughter loved "Corner Gas", a fantastic Canadian comedy series peopled with quirky characters, so she obviously has good taste.
I did not prejudge the show for her because I wanted her unbiased opinion so I simply let her watch it. And I re-watched the first ten minutes and the remainder (with the hope that it would get better and redeem itself).
It didn't. It got no funnier the second time around, just more annoying.
I listened for my daughter to laugh or snicker. Not once did she do either.
I asked what she thought of it after the showing and she said it was quite silly and not very funny.
Now am I going to argue with my daughter on this? Not a chance. Because she was right.
I could critique each character and plot point of this show but I don't have the time nor the patience.
Watch it yourself, it will only take 30 minutes of your life, and see if you end up cringing or laughing.
