This picture is the next adaptation of the book "Duhles of the 21st century. Selfi "for the authorship of Sergei Minaev. This film attracted me very much from the very beginning, firstly, not a bad idea: "Is it really that a worthy psychological thriller about split personality has been shot in Russia?" Secondly, it is participation in this project of one of the best Russian actors of our time and one of my favorite actors, Konstantin Khabensky.
What did we get as a result? Even considering this work, being very optimistic, we still have to state the fact that it turned out to be quite unprepossessing and not interesting. The weakest in the film is, of course, the scenario there are many illogical places, inconsistencies, many subject lines and scenes do not affect the development of the main story story in any way. The entire production looks a bit fake, and you do not believe in what's happening on the screen. Oh, and what was the potential! It is very sad that the final result turned out to be very unfortunate, although in the beginning the film managed to attract the viewer, but closer to the middle it all became boring and simply uninteresting.
One of the few pluses is the work of the operator Vladislav Opelyants. In his work creates a gray absorbing melancholic atmosphere of everything happening diluted with a pleasant neon, the operator managed to convey that oppressive atmosphere of the megacity and even in some ways create a noir style of the big city, but all this again comes to naught when suddenly the picture appears product placement of vodka.
Also from the pros it's as always a very good game of Konstantin Khabensky who even in such a film is incredibly trying and gives out the game no worse than in the "geographer" or "collector".
Well, it's time to sum up. This picture turned out to be a very unfortunate fault of that, of course, a poorly worked out scenario. Yes, it has the basic idea of how important it is to look at your reflection in time to understand that it is better to be a responsible father than a mediocre creator, but this idea is lost in the endless useless scenes, the illogical actions of heroes and the product placement that constantly appears in the frame. This film is not required to be viewed by anyone. Even fans of creativity Konstantin Khabensky, I would not advise this film. It is a pity that Constantine feels in these projects his talent worth more.
