Anyone who doesn't like this has never worked in retail, this show is not over exaggerated, these things do happen people are this stupid and rude, we might as well be robots some of the things customers have said and treated me and co-workers in the past.

But he is mad, so ya know.
It ain't a 2/10, it's a 10/10.

As a retail veteran, this show is at times painful, at times evocative, but always never less than funny and yet the best thing about it is it also acts as a morality lesson for anyone who's not worked in a service industry. As with Sky's Trollied (set in a supermarket) the idiots are both sides of the counter while the good guys quietly simmer .. well, most of the time they do. There's actually a lot of outbursts in Rostered On, which definitely places it firmly down under. I doubt anyone in the UK would act the way most of the staff do in fronting up to the customers - not if they wanted to keep their jobs, anyway. So many of the characters are instantly recognisable along with most of the situations they find themselves in, but the customers really are the stars of the show. The main cast are all well-drawn, but the men and women visiting their store .. wow .. they're absolutely bang on the money for me.
Great show. Great dialogue. Lots of mileage too, so I hope it continues !

Very funny and well written Australian show. Think Office Space meets Clerks. Highly recommend.
I used to work in retail and this show accurately depicts what goes on behind the scenes with plenty of fantastic humour added in. Amazing how such a small show is so amazingly hilarious!!!! Hope this continues with the amount of creativity going on as now.!!! Highly recommend you watch it!!!
This show is trueoy phenomenal. As someone with 10 years retail experience, I can assure you that this sums it up perfectly. Useless managers, hopeless staff, and asshole customers. Rostered On shows this 100%, and makes you howl with laughter into the bargain.

This had apparently a billion zillion views on the net....something doesn't sound quite right about that.Saw it with a few friends that said yeah give it a go but can tell just from ads it looks pretty dire,& dire it was let alone predictable, puerile, unfunny just sad really that what was once amusing Australian tv has been relegated to this & that other shocker orange is the new brown.I mean we sat there just waiting, wanting to laugh, chuckle anything but instead ended up asking each other 'wheres the funny',just terrible one could see the lame....err...'jokes',for a really strong want of a better word, from beyond the horizon we actually felt embarrassed

If you've been through retail, are in retail or understand what retail staff go through on a daily basis you will love this. Everything I saw on the show I related to as most things shown do happen in retail!
Hilarious and can't wait for season 2.
N.B don't mind the rating above, a bot / hacker caused the rating to go really low, IMDB wont do anything either. Watch it, enjoy it and if you love it rate and review it to help these guys out.

Don't watch this show, it's depressing and predictable. I suppose it was a good idea but very poorly done.

Everyone hating on this is wrong. It is not meant to be some cinematic masterpiece. Its 21 minutes of hilarity and the best thing to watch after an annoying day at work. If you work or have worked in retail it will affirm everything you've ever thought while working. Love the cast and can not wait for more episodes.

I work in retail and I can't tell you it is exactly like what the show is trying to show.

The Australian humor may be lost on some, but it is depressingly surprising how close this show comes to true in it's over-exaggerated format. Overall, I enjoyed each episode to it's fullest and have actually come back to re-watch it on multiple occasions. Honestly, it is not for everyone (especially if you are easily 'triggered'), but it's a hidden gem for many who will enjoy the humor of retail.

No coincidence that most of these reviews were written on the same day in July. And all giving 10. When your friends need to rate your show because it's so bad things are really sad.

As painful as it was to let my 14 year old daughter tell me to watch it. I was entertained and lol'd a lot. Everyone I've told to watch has commented how good it is.

As one reviewer commented "No coincidence that most of these reviews were written on the same day in July"
If you listened to any of the ads promoting this show you would think this is the only comedy show the entire world is watching on commercial T.V & Youtube..
A pathetic attempt at humor that I've ever had the misfortune of sitting through.
Bad is an understatement.1/10 is too generous

This show is such an easy watch and absolutely funny...probably could tone down the character Brett he is pretty cringe worthy, but the rest of them are hilarious. Hope they make a second season with more episodes.
As a former (thank god) retail worker I have loved this show since I saw a quick 20 second clip on facebook. I instantly sought out the show, watched it to completion, and waited intently for season 2 to come out.
The characters are well crafted and have very enticing stories, but this isn't the full draw for us retail workers. No, it's the customers. You may be saying "no way they are as bad as they are in the show". I can guarantee you they can be, and they are. Their portrayal of these ridiculous humans who decide to bring back a toaster because 'it burned my toast' is nothing far from the truth. Anyone who has worked in retail can give you a plethora of stories that will shock you.
And take it from me, I had just as bad a District Manager as they do in this show. It's depiction is horrifyingly accurate.
This is the 'Waiters' of the retail world and if you've worked retail, even if you haven't, you need to watch it. Maybe it'll give you some empathy to us poor retail folk.

Some people find this lowwww budget, low production value show about work in an electricàl goods shop funny, I didn't. Think lower high school drama group kids who've worked at KMart standard putting something together on short notice. The only saving grace is that it's given some people some work and experience, but really Netflix. What were you thinking?

I worked in retail for the better part of a decade and this show just made me laugh and laugh (and weep). It's incredibly accurate and I can relate to it on a spiritual level. Also just bloody funny!

Every human on the planet who has ever been shopping for anything in their life needs to watch this show.
It is the most accurate representation of retail shopping ever made, from the other side of the cash register.
Customers can be total d##ches, but as long as those of us that work in the service industry can have a good laugh about it, we can go on to fight another day.
