After more than 300 skylander toys, Activision now gives you the option to create your own skylander, via a Creation Crystal. Good idea, in theory. However, like the traps from Trap Team, it seems that not all of the Creation Crystals are going to be available in all areas.
Also, this title seems to mark the end of the franchise, as in 2017, there will be no sequel. Activision has stated that they will continue to have console updates and release new characters, however, they are far and few between. Collectors and gamers have already been having trouble finding these new arrivals. One character, the Valentines Day 2017 skylander was cancelled due to poor reception of his look. Honestly, I think Activision has given up after they've sucked millions of dollars from the consumer.
All I can say is Best of luck, and play on.
