Harris's List is the name of the booklet the girls were reading from in the opening scene. It actually existed. It catalogued the talents & attributes of London's prostitutes.
This show is written & produced by mainly women.
Many of the streets the brothels are on still have brothels on them today
Inspired by the French TV-show Maison Close (2010).
Inspired by the book "The Covent Garden Ladies" by Hallie Rubenhold, who also acted as historical advisor to the show.
