A rock star far to his best form. His step son wish about the performance of him at high school concert , with his vintage band. And the obstacles , from the not brilliant state of health of man to the conflicts with boy and the refuge in alcohol.

But the things are to good direction.

More than story itself, depressing and hopeful in same measure, the acting is the pillar sustaining this short film about a small world, not so happy but trying to offer to a boy some compensation to the expectations about adults and frustrations of age, high lucidity and the hour of his succes front the mates. The presence in cast of Corinne Masiero and Pascal Demolon is a guarantee in this sense.

"Vince is a 13-year-old drummer. His father, Fred, is 48, and a faded guitarist and singer rock 'star"However , his father is not really his dad (he tells him so on several occasions ) ;besides ,a heavy smoker ,spitting blood ,and seriously sick (cancer is looming in the background).

Vince asks his dad to perform live at his junior high school concert ;but Fred 's voice is terribly damaged and he is the ghost of himself. Although the concert will take place ,it's a depressing movie ;as the emcee announces "an old rock group" ,one of the women who does the backing vocals angrily retorts " not old! vintage!

Although the performance leaves a lot to be desired,Fred sings like a possessed man,as though a life depends on it;and it does ,in a way, for it may well be his last one.
