An altercation between two crew members culminated in a stabbing on set, in which one crew member assailed the other. The fracas occurred on March 30, 2016. The injury was non-life threatening, and the assailant was arrested by Sheriff Deputies. Despite the unpleasant occurrence, filming resumed without further incident.
The production was plagued daily by bad weather including severe cold, snow, and extreme sandstorms.
You can clearly see various people using the colt 1873, it even being mentioned a few times, though this revolver was not even designed until 1872 let alone available to the public in 1870. Cap and ball revolvers and conversions, would be much more common in 1870
Whilst TNT was invented in 1863 its explosive qualities were not utilised till at least 20 years later thus its use as such would not have been known in 1870
There is a sign for "Cooley's" over the Saloon at the center of town. This was set decoration left over from the AMC TV series "Preacher." The schedule for filming on Justice was so tight they did not have time to redecorate the town.
