Cagatay's acting skills are phenomenal. His merger into the characters he plays is spell bounding. You can experience the turbulence of emotions he's going through and it's hard to not get the feels. Loved his performance but it was heart breaking. Must watch for his fans.

I found Cagatay Ulusoy's acting amazing! This movie really touched me. It shows how a person fighting a mental disorder really feels. I really hope there were more movies about mental health out there. Mental illness exists! Mental illness is a serious matter! You never know what the person next to you carries in their soul.

As a person very closely related to mental illness, I loved this movie so much. Cinematography is not that spectacular as other Turkish movies, but this story that seems to be a tale is not a kind of romantic or cliché movie of love. This movie is the life of a young man who has a mental disease, his struggle and way of living.
Plot is really beautiful, I hope more people related to the disorder that involves the movie would have the chance to see, as well as their friends and family. The main characters are "irresistible" and the rhythm is nice and fast.

Superb movie. This movie made me move from bliss to ecstasy, Cagatay Ulusoy gave me so much emotion and made me pass through as many states as I could not imagine I could ever go through. I've seen the movie countless times, and every time I'm sending the same emotion as the first time. Cagatay is the most talented actor I've ever seen. I'm proud of him and proud of being his fan

The hot young boy with typical university student looks, the typically beautiful career driven young girl. The typical challenges that stand in their way, the grumpy father that doesn't approve, the friendly understanding mother. The overly exaggerated so-called "tragedy" that befalls them that's blown way out of proportion, and the conclusion we're being forced to believe is out of love but is actually just immature and hypocritical.
You know when you go to the toilet during the movie and worry if you've missed anything, well you can stay in the toilet for the entirety of the movie and 5 minutes will be more than enough for a friend to draw it all to you.
There can only be two explanations for the existence of this movie. The writer/director have never seen a single romance movie, or as a money maker towards a very naive young crowd that are still moved by romance that stems only from good looks.
Change the lead boy (I'm specifically using the word boy) to a less good looking one and the early romance can very rapidly be seen as creepy stalking and the entire premise of the movie will collapse.
A perfectly fair rating for this movie would be a 4, thanks to a good cinematography only, but I've given it a 1 to counter the suspiciously high rating it's at now.

I have been waiting the Debilbal project and the role of Baris Ayaz with Cagatay Ulusoy , in December 25, 2015, a role that fascinated and conquered me at the same time!
How hard work for this role, what professionalism!
I recommend this movie to everyone, regardless of age, is a movie that has excited me, but from which I learned many things about bipolarity!
Cagatay, played an extremely difficult role, but the versatility with which he expressed his feelings, made me look at this film with great care!
Soulful life and inner turmoil have made the passages from agony to ecstasy seem to be detached from the reality of a sick man!
A great bravo for Cagatay Ulusoy, a magnificent actor!
From Delibal movie, I understood the suffering of people suffering from bipolarity!
Baris in turkish language = Peace ...Yes the name may seem duplicate, given the tragic end of Baris , but I think it's a well-chosen name for the situation of a boy suffering from bipolarity, a severe mental illness, that deforms the personality, to the one next to you, and causes much suffering to those around you! For such a sick person, perhaps the inner peace can only be found, especially as a smart child knew what could happen without his will! For Baris, the transition from a normal life of student and drummer, to a life without sparks and without expectation ,was a torture and only the inner peace brought to him! It merged between the struggle to defeat the disease and the desire to love! But he understood that the medicines and the treatments, they will not spare her suffering!

I've never experienced such a mixture of positive and sad motions while watching a movie. So rapidly, so spontaneous, so genuine. Yeah, those emotions were truly genuine. And I don't care about those 'professional' reviews because realness, emotions are two the most important part of humans and I saw it in the movie.
And of course loud of applause to main actor and the movie team. You've done great job guys, plus, you have probably opened someone's eyes (bipolar disorder).
Aşkolsun! Bravo!
P.S. IMDb, please, let people leave here shorter reviews, because they will lose interest otherwise.

Delibal, a production that will test your states and will not quench your curiosity until the end, a production that I have seen so far five times, always with the same lust, always convinced that I will see it again soon .Delibal is an exceptional movie that definitely deserves to be watched. It is the life story of a young architect student, Baris Ayaz, who suffers from bipolar, interpreted with great dedication and talent by beautiful actor Cagatay Ulusoy and next to which the beautiful Turkish Leyla Lydia Tugutlu plays.
Delibal is the story of Baris, a student of architecture and composer, who falls in love at first sight with Fusun, a student of sociology, a young woman concerned with her professional future and less than how she is going to live her sentimental life. Until he meets him, the young man with his head in the clouds will keep himself off until he succeeds to turn the world over and challenge her to smile.
Although convinced that only the career takes precedence, Füsun, the conscientious girl for whom her father's word is commanded, slowly falls in love with the charismatic Baris, who finally, after several ascents and descents in their relationship, does not give up love and he will ask for his wife, marrying Füsun in spite of attempts by her family.
Apparently a love lived like fairy tales. In reality, the saddest and hardest to bear a love story, because nobody likes that one day the loved one simply disappears, leaving behind dozens of questions, a heart who still wants a little bit of happiness and just one answer hard to find.
I will not tell you more, but I will leave you in the care of Fusun and his crazy honey, who will wear you in one of the most beautiful romantic dramas you have ever seen. With my hand I say that!

Delibal is an excellent movie where its protagonist Cagatay Ulusoy has a wonderful performance awakening many emotions in the viewer. Cagatay shows us new skills such as playing drums and the main song is sung by Him. Wonder and sweetness !!!!

Depression can rob people of the ability to feel happiness and pleasure, even if their lives are full of success and everything they want. Baris character experiences this. He conceals her depression from is wife and family for many years until it becomes too severe to ignore any longer. This moves teaches you that depression isn't only a source of pain for the person who has it. It can also be a challenge on others ( Baris marriage and wife Fusun)
