Actually that may implicate something right now (in 2022), that is not really there. Nothing war related here - and not the best Censor movie I watched this year (that prize goes to a more recent horror movie that tackles british censorship in its heyday - if you'll excuse the pun there).
So try to free your mind of what Russia stands for now (though it is mostly the politics of course, people always are exposed to brain washing and also have to endure whatever their politicians get wrong). This is an action movie and as such it works neatly. There are some interesting choices - story and visually. The movie itself does not take prisoners - no pun intended. You may apply some moral filter on it or view things through a certain filter too. I did not ask myself anything morally speaking. This is a movie after all.

I like to watch films with subtitles if they can keep me interested and this one did. The actors did a fine job and sometimes it's nice to see people you don't recognize from other movies. Lots of gore though if you don't care for violence.
