A satire that grabbed my attention from the start and kept me on the edge. The performance is above par. Though the ending is sort of predictable. And the third part feels a lit loose. If it could be a bit shorter and more dense. I liked the beginning and the end form a circle. And the scenes rolling at the end credits, not the usual extensions or bloopers, are hilarious -- wish there'd be more.
I agree with the characters that from the seventies there are no longer meaningful movies. Yes some are good, excellent. But there's no ground-breaking ones that truly knock you out. There are new techniques and original angles here and there but no significant breakthroughs. Maybe films have reached the ceiling of our imagination and capacity.
