It's not that this week's Twin Peaks revived my interest in the series, but it did give a whole lot more insight and clues into what's going on. The biggest takeaway has to be the fact that both Gordon & Sheriff Truman are both on the same page regarding the fact that there are two Coopers. It took a whopping 14 episodes for law enforcement to figure it out, but at least we're at that point. It's about dang time. Andy visited the white lodge and was joined by The Giant/The Fireman/??????. That was quite the moment for a character who has spent most of his time as the comedic relief of the show. Overall, this series is a million times darker than its predecessor, and this episode hit that home rather well. Speaking of which, Gordon had an Inception moment with Monica Belluci, I don't know if those two things will ever be linked with each other. Not sure how to interpret the dream, but it sure was memorable. A few other noteworthy tidbits include, Diane and Janey-E being estranged sisters, the no-eyed lady being found naked in the forest by the white lodge, James hearing a mysteriously similar sound to what Ben Horne heard at his place, and Mrs. Palmer inexplicably murdering a man in the bar with her face. What the hell just happened. I'm not sure what to think of this show after this episode. I literally have the same reaction every week.
