"Charlotte" is the second original anime project created by visual novel brand Key, following the hit series "Angel Beats!" (2010).
There is a scene where the protagonist Yuu Otosaka is seen watching a tv. He just so happens to be watching a scene from a tv series called "Angel Beats!" another of Key studios works.
Jun Maeda, the Creator of Charlotte, also wrote the opening theme "Bravely You".
