The real Lord Kitchener was Irish born Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener, the 1st Earl Kitchener (24th of June 1850 - 5th of June 1916) who had a vast and varied military career, whose face was used in the British World War 1 1914 poster campaign. This is the famous poster of an head-shot of an army officer, with prominent moustache, pointing at the reader and quoting "Britons: Lord Kitchener Wants You. Join Your Country's Army! God save the King.".
