May 17th 1977 is election day. The whole country is waiting for results, and in one particular home in the small town Or Yehuda, one family also waits for their younger daughter's fiancé. His name is Avner. He is a grocery store owner, and he will come today to meet the family and ask for Shuly's hand. The whole family is excited- Gina, the mother, the neighborhood's hairdresser, Nisso, Shuly's older brother who takes care of the family since the death of the father, and other aunts, uncles and cousins. Mazal, Shuly's older and divorced sister , who just moved back to her parents house with her son Zohar, is also waiting, after spending the whole day, cooking and cleaning for the guest. But then, somebody else appears, claims to be Shuly's fiancé, but is actually interested in Mazal. Mazal, on the first election day of her adult life, has to choose between family and love, and between passion and reason.

Life isn't smiling these days for Deena, the tough but gold hearted policeman, captain of the "Thunder Cats" bowling team. She is leading the less than motivated, incompetent team into the local championship, attempting to beat the eternal rival, the unbeatable "Kassoto& Sons Body Shop" team. Eli Kassoto, the captain, broke Deena's heart , and now discovers that it may be too late to change his mind, for there is another man in her life. As the Thunder cats lamely win their way to the finals, the relationship between the members and the rival team unfolds. Deena's younger brother, Gidi, is having a hopeless affair with the pretty and married Ilana. Vadim, the latest Thunder Cats acquisition, is coyly courting Deena. Mali starts having contractions, but still coaches Oshrit, a hesitant rookie who has to roll the last ball to win the final match. Deena and Eli reach final confrontation; on the ally as in their love.

One long night at Ben Gurion Airport, where rigid regulations confront raw, emotional encounters, five different stories of 15 intriguing characters are investigating. A child possessing super natural powers. on his way to a world tour, uses them to read thoughts, open doors and tie loose ends. For an unknown reason, a young flight attendant is trying to put an end to a miserable relationship with an older, arrogant pilot. A handsome yet suspicious passenger , silently crosses the terminal, his terrible secret yet to be revealed. An older couple, returning from a trip to Europe visibly tired of each other's company, share a major disaster, they forgot to buy running shoes for their grandson. A young man goes through a routine security check, and as beautiful young security officer discovers he spent time in an Arab town, she reveals his luggage contents and his soul. At dawn, one by one, all plots reach closer.
Our young, slightly lonely heroine, Esti, receives a strange phone call in the middle of the night. A wrong number. The stranger, amused by her reaction, asks for a date, under one condition: she is to be blindfolded, never to see his face, never to reveal her eyes. Esti decides to let this exciting new adventure into her dull life as a simple worker in the back garage of a car dealership. She has been dreaming of moving up to the glamorous shop- room, while having a lingering crush on Menashe, a co- worker with slight chances of it ever turning into a real affair, since both of them are too shy to approach each other. The incidental telephone call marks a turning point. Thanks to this new relationship, Esti is blooming, and tends to forget the people and things that really matter. The dealership owner suspects that one of the workers is making extra money on the side and creates an atmosphere of tension and suspicion. Esti has to choose- between truth and lie, between an open, warm relationship or blindfolded sex, between reality and fantasy.

Can Fear be a self fulfilling prophecy? A husband, a wife and their best friend return from a ski vacation. The husband suspects that his wife has fallen in love with the friend. He confronts his friend rather than his wife. The friend dismisses the accusation. Is he lying? and if not, how will these doubts affect him, and will he view the wife differently from now on? And the wife: Is she indeed in love? if so, will she do something about it? If not, will she sense the suspicions around her? could she not? And the husband: should he discover that he was wrong, would he be able to stop that which he had begun with mere words? Alianna, age 30, painfully regretting a major mistake, decides to see Lucian, a psychologist. Lucian makes an interesting offer- she will send Aliana back to her past, for a brief attempt to correct her mistake, and the price will be years from Alianna's life. Alianna travels back and forth to her past, and so discovers that the true love of her life is Yuval, who was killed seven years earlier when his plane crashed. By using emotional and logical manipulations, Alianna manages to overcome Lucian's refusal to deal with death, and arrives at the time in her past when Yuval was still alive. As a child he promises her a meeting in the future, at the date in which the film actually takes place. Alianna returns to Lucian's clinic, where she discovers that she lost 50 years of her life and has only one more year to live. Alianna, with more information than she is revealing, makes a deal with Lucian- if Yuval will show up for the meeting, she will get her 50 years back. If Yuval fails to show, Alianna will lose even her last year, and will die at sunset.

A reunion of two lovers in a foreign city, during the holiest day of all- Daniel and Noa, Yom Kippur, 1997, Budapest, Hungary. It is a story of a great love, but also of sin and retribution- one gunshot, a little blood, prayer and purifying sorrow. Daniel is an Israeli arriving in Budapest in search of his lover whom he lost exactly one year ago. He drives limousines for a living, and is now driving Samuel, a black boxer has-been. They are both on their way to the boxing club, Calypso, where Samuel is to fight, and where Daniel finds his long lost love, Noa, in the arms of the owner, Peter, an ex- revolutionary, dubious, but charming. Daniel takes her our of the club, for a long night journey in which they search for their old feeling and their new selves. The prohibitions of Yom Kippur make it all more difficult for him to reach her, while Noa finds it difficult to understand why he left her to begin with. In the background a lost boxing match and a criminal deal behind it cast an oppressive shadow.
