- TriviaSeg-El was named after "Superman" creator Jerry Siegel.
- GoofsSeg and Adam and other characters sometimes speak of distances in the universe, like in one episode about "the earth being million lightyears away". But in the last episode of season 2 good old Lobo mentions the milky way so that it seems Krypton is in the milky way galaxy. Problem: the milky way is not even close 1 million light year of diameter (ca. 105,000 ly).
- Crazy creditsThe DC Comics logo is set in space, and embedded with red Kryptonian earth. It turns green (the color of kryptonite, radioactive Kryptonian earth) and explodes (foreshadowing Krypton's fate).
The WB logo appears from the explosion, shaded green.

Some loyal fans will say that Superman is only a fictional superhero originated by two writers from Cleveland, Ohio, to profit from their new comic book series. But truth be known, this fresh new science-fiction TV series proves that it was actually a loyal Detroit Tigers fan named Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) who travelled back in time some 200 years to confront a young 23 year old Kryptonite named Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) to warn him that the planet Krypton is in critical danger of being annihilated by a universal destroyer of planets named Braniac (Blake Ritson).
How Adam Strange travelled back in time some 200 years in the past wearing denim jeans and jacket and prominently displaying his Detroit Tigers baseball cap is not important. What is important is this messenger named Adam Strange from the future who travelled from Detroit, planet Earth to land on Krypton held in his position the metaphorical and physical key to Superman's ice fortress.
This pilot episodes which was one hour in duration flew by rather quickly which is generally a very good sign that a new science fiction series has sustaining power with the many good versus evil characters we are introduced to. Of course our young hero Seg-El who will become the future grandfather of Clark Kent, the Superman who eventually lands on earth to save our planet, has two women who are interested in sharing his bed and his sperm. So we will have to stay tuned to future episodes to see who Clark Kent's eventual grandmother will be.
I give this pilot episode an excellent 8 out of 10 rating. On a side note though maybe Adam Strange has appeared on Krypton to see if Superman can not only save earth, but more importantly to help his Detroit Tigers win another World Series since they have been running on empty since 1984.
