Idk how it is rated as 5.7 or something now, but if you consider the taste of audience in 1996, it was a very good movie.
Even the songs makes you feel happy happy, nostalgic and happy 😁

The love Nd the beauty with which the movie is made as of 1996 makes you go nostalgic over it.
Story wasn't very unique either, but the presentation and the sweetness will make you go gaga over the movie.
Also, Rani Mukherjee in Bengali Cinema makes you feel proud in comparison to the fame and name she has made in Bollywood,
