Stephanie L. Roach's only role and nude scenes as of August 2022.
The idea for this movie came up during a conversation between actor Edward X. Young and director/producer John Orrichio when they were discussing possible topics for a horror film. Young mentioned his fascination with Stalin-era Russian biologist Il'ya Ivanovich Ivanov, who, in 1929, solicited female volunteers to be artificially inseminated with orangutan sperm to study the possibility of interspecies mating. Orrichio told Young that would be a great plot for a Bigfoot movie.
In an interview with NJ Advance Media, John Orrichio said the international distributors insisted on opening the film either with a killing or a lesbian sex scene in order to guarantee it would be appealing to foreign audiences. So Orrichio decided to do both by filming a killing during a lesbian sex scene.
Edward X. Young ran for a seat on the Brick Board of Education in New Jersey a year later. But when voters found out he was in this and other horror movies that included nudity, sex, drugs and violence against women, it caused a huge controversy. The current Board President Stephanie Wohlrab told the media, "I do not believe that he should be in a position of making decisions that affect school children."
