Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy has taken to Instagram to share what appears to be a deleted scene or alternate ending for the recently released threequel.
During the movie's final act, the Merc with the Mouth and Logan battled the Deadpool Corps and were saved from a rematch when "Peterpool" showed up and earned the approval of Ladypool and company. Later, we'd learn that the Corps were sent back to The Void.
However, in this sequence, we see that Kidpool and Headpool have returned home with Rob Delaney's Peter. The mild-mannered car salesman is shown feeding the latter some popcorn before the foul-mouthed Kidpool appears to unleash another torrent of abuse!
We'd imagine this will end up on the Blu-ray and it could explain recent photos of Peter visiting the Tva; perhaps the original idea was that he'd "adopt" some of Wade Wilson's Variants?

Having achieved critical success with his 2023 release, May December, filmmaker Todd Haynes joined forces with Joker star Joaquin Phoenix for an untitled gay romance. Even though the Oscar-winner was heavily involved with its screenplay alongside Haynes, just five days before the production was set to commence, Phoenix abruptly pulled out.
As for the aftermath, the whole thing has been a nightmare per producer Christine Vachon, who defended her decision to cast Phoenix, a heterosexual person, in the shoes of a gay character.

Wolverine's most iconic line is also the one line that can sum up his character and what he believes he stands for.
James Howlett Logan, born in the late 1800s, has led a nomadic life throughout his time in the Marvel Comics, traversing the globe in pursuit of a family and a home. The emergence of his bone claws marked the beginning of a journey fraught with loss, as he navigated a path lined with the fallen - both friend and foe. As a mutant with a remarkable healing factor, he is inevitably destined to outlive those he holds dear. This reality, perhaps, contributes to his rugged demeanor, sharpened tactical understanding, and unique skill set. Notable abilities include heightened senses, enhanced physical capabilities, and a skeletal structure reinforced with the indestructible adamantium.

As for NCIS: Origins, here is what you can expect from Harmon in the new series.

An moved and moving River Gallo thanked a full and cheering house for turning out to the premiere of Ponyboi. The intersex actor starred in film, which is both a crime thriller and exploration of gender and identity. Gallo is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
Gallo also wrote the screenplay based on a theater piece they had developed at at NYU. Estaban Arango directed.
Unfolding over the course of Valentine’s Day in a seedy area of New Jersey, a young intersex sex worker must run from gangsters after a drug deal goes sideways, forcing him to confront his past. Gallo is the heart of the gritty crime drama that’s also an exploration of masculinity, femininity and judgmental hierarchies that exist inside the queer world as well as out. Being Intersex is medical/anatomical — when a person generally appears to be one sex but has the dominant anatomy of the other.

Eugene Hernandez has reached the top of the mountain.
The journalist turned nonprofit executive has spent decades rising through the ranks of the American independent film scene. This January he assumes his seat at its apex: as the director of the Sundance Film Festival.
Hernandez, the co-founder of IndieWire and longtime leader of Film at Lincoln Center, got the coveted job in late 2022. But his official duties begin with this year’s festival, the 40th edition of the annual celebration of film that kicks off Jan. 18. He still remembers his first time in the luxury ski town of Park City, Utah, watching Robert Rodriguez’s “El Mariachi” in 1993.
“It all feels full circle,” Hernandez tells Variety, adding that he shed tears when Sundance CEO Joana Vicente called to offer the job.

Chicago – Here we are again, the end of another year, and it’s time to momentarily look back. Thus opens the 10 Best Films Of 2023, the list that represents one soul interacting with the art of cinema. That soul belongs to Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com, Wbgr-fm and Wssr-fm.
So begins my list, with such a lofty and third person proclamation. By far, the story of the year is Barbenheimer (the same weekend release of Barbie and Oppenheimer), proving in the digital age that something weird and organic can take hold, and get more people to the theaters, celebrating a true movie event. Kudos to the movie celebrators who did both in one magic day.
I format my 10 Best to reflect the on-air reviews I do weekly on Wbgr-fm and Wssr-fm and New on Missourinet.com. Each of the 10 Best will be in the on-air or audio format for your listening pleasure.

Death Grips are the latest act to fall victim to crowds who can’t behave themselves. The experimental hip-hop group ended a recent set in Fayetteville, Arkansas early after audience members continuously pelted them with glow sticks.
According to NME, fans threw objects at the band several times throughout the show, and Mc Ride left the stage and came back more than once before ultimately abandoning the gig for real. The trio was 25 songs into their reportedly 29-song set when they ended the performance.
As a Reddit user who attended the show recounted, “Someone threw a phone at them and Ride threw the mic on the ground and walked off and back. Someone threw a glowstick that hit him in the chest and he walked off, back and waiting for more. Another glowstick was thrown and they left. Fair is fair.” Watch fan-shot footage of the incident below.

Kaufman was in town as a filmmaker amid the WGA and SAG-Aftra strrikes.
US writer-director Charlie Kaufman blasted the Hollywood studio system while making some sharply pointed observations about Artificial Intelligence (AI) amid the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes in a fiery masterclass presentation at the Sarajevo Film Festival on Monday.
Asked the difference between art and entertainment, Kaufman replied: “If by entertainment you mean conventional Hollywood fare, I would say that it is the difference between truth and bullshit. If the agenda is to sell a product and that product is the movie…then that can’t be art.

But, as she became more and more popular, she started to become something more than just an actress and a dancer: She became a role model. As one of television’s pioneers in the ’70s, portraying a successful single woman on The Mary Tyler Moore Show who was career-oriented rather than fixated on finding a husband, Moore wound up becoming one of the poster children for feminism at a time when American society was changing quickly. Right now, there’s an excellent documentary, Being Mary Tyler Moore, that examines her role in popular culture at the time. Starz and Lionsgate have suspended producer Ian Woolf from the drama series “Bmf” following an alleged altercation with two striking Writers Guild of America writers in Atlanta on Thursday.
According to a series of tweets posted by WGA member Brian Egeston and strike captain Gabriel Alejandro Garza, the pair were on a public sidewalk, not impeding traffic, when Woolf pointed an SUV he was driving toward Egeston “as though it were a weapon and slammed the breaks within six feet of writers.”
Garza said that Woolf looked directly at him as he “hit the accelerator one more time, followed by the brakes, and skid even closer to us.” According to the pair, Woolf said that he was trying to scare them. Garza noted that they have a recording of Woolf’s explanation.
“I would implore you, in hindsight, to consider the ramifications of killing an African-American man in the streets...

Streaming fans are still stinging after HBO Max took a hatchet to their library within the last few months. Now, the same strategy is playing out with Disney, as Disney+ and Hulu are set to lose several titles as early as next week.

Get Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for just $12.99 a month ($13 savings).
Outlets like Vulture, Deadline, and Variety report different lists of disappearing titles, including “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings,” “Big Shot,” “Magic Camp,” “The Mysterious Benedict Society,” “The World According to Jeff Goldblum,” and “Willow.” The full extent of the purge may not be known until after it occurs. (See the anticipated list of cuts at the end of this article.)
Allegedly, these cuts will help the services become more profitable. But for viewers, these cuts simply mean less content on the platform.
The biggest flop on the list appears to be “Willow.

“I am thrilled. I’m feeling just a lot of gratitude and humility in a lot of ways,” she said, when asked how she’s handling everything.
“You know, when these things happen and you get halls of fames and all of that sort of thing starting to come your way, I think it’s a culmination of hopefully just a lot of hard work and a little luck here and there. Good timing and good music that’s connected with people, and a great team behind me,” she continued.
