Judge the show all you want about this cartoon that was purposely aimed at toddlers. But this is one of the greatest shows that I ever watched ever since my past few years.
The Lion Guard is one great fun show to ever watched that is literally from a TV channel called Disney Junior. You may think that Disney Junior has only cartoons about the usual cliche learning for babies but this one improved very well. Just like the other cartoon, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic or Bluey the storytelling in the cartoon is absolutely amazing. It even has to return the more returning characters Scar, Vitani, Kovu, Zira and so much more to count on. I also even like some of the new characters in the cartoon too. One example is Jasiri the because, for a female Hyena living only in the Outlands, she is such a happy and sassy-looking character which I am absolutely obsessed with. As for the episodes most of them are just fillers that are not very important parts of the show but as it absolutely progressed the show starts to become more interesting to enjoy because most of the episodes in Season 3 have a lot of callbacks from previous movies.
But despite all how great the story is. The show has so many plot holes which I don't understand like how Scar gotta his scar, too many musical scenes in each episode, and most importantly the show did not even have a proper fight scene which makes it very anticlimactic even though it's a Disney Junior Show.
It's not perfect but if you wanted to watch one Disney Junior show enjoy it. Then this show is best suggested to give a chance.
