Hulu has set six series regulars for its upcoming scripted series on the origins of The Wu-Tang Clan, Variety has learned.

Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Siddiq Saunderson, Marcus Callender, Zolee Griggs, and Erika Alexander have all been cast in the 10-episode series, “Wu-Tang: An American Saga.” Full character descriptions can be read below. In addition, Chris Robinson–who previously directed multiple episodes of shows like “Star” and “The New Edition Story”–has come onboard to direct and co-executive produce the pilot.

“Wu-Tang: An American Saga” is inspired by “The Wu-Tang Manual” and “Tao of Wu”, and based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan. Mike Tyson has committed to star in the prank comedy-adventure film, “Public Disturbance,” starring YouTube sensations the Janoskians. Lionsgate announced this week that production for the project has started and that the legendary boxer has joined the cast.

Directed by Danny Lee, the comedy follows the Janoskians after they are invited to perform a stunt at a star-studded birthday bash for Alison, the daughter of a famous media mogul (Tyson). When their act gets cancelled at the last minute, the pranksters plan the ultimate heist to hijack the dull party and create the largest public disturbance of their lives.

Los Angeles-based United Media Capital has formed a joint venture fund with Pigmental Studios of Hollywood and Washington, D.C., and Santa Monica-based United Independents Group to co-finance a slate of animated and live-action films.

The first to go is Household Pests written by Despicable Me story writer Sergio Pablos. The story follows an imaginative boy who battles monsters under his bed every night.

The fund will also invest in a second animated project called Mean Margaret based on the children’s book of the same name.
