Let me just start off by saying that I didn't play the original Titanfall game as it was exclusive to the X-BOX. That being said I think this game wins out at least on the three way battle between Battlefield 1, and Infinite Warfare. The latter two are more well know and spend a whole lot more money on advertising so Titanfall 2 was kind of forgotten on its release.
The campaign's story is pretty straight forward and the missions use the game's mechanics quite well. There are moments when your entire terrain can be flipped and you must navigate through. Those are probably my favorite parts in the game. It is just stunning watching it happen. Combat is... well now that I think about it was a piece of cake. I played on the Hard difficulty and the regular soldiers were pretty useless. I could honestly run around and melee them all out. The robotic enemies posed more of a challenge but not by much. The titan battles in the campaign were fun for the most part. There are some annoying instances like titan mobility in closed spaces but even that is a big deal. The only real downside to the story is that is too short! I didn't track it but I think it took me between 5-7 hours to complete. I know they are focused on multiplayer and everything but we need an expanded story for Titanfall 3.
The game does well with the titan and pilot interactions. You get two options of dialogue and that sets up the one liners and other humorous gags. If EA continues to build the franchise; (you know they will) I think Jack and BT could be compared to the relationship of Cortana and Master Chief.
The multiplayer is great and actually has replay value. I am not a big fan of multiplayer but this one actually looks cool. I like the whole idea of pilots vs. titans feel. It felt fun and fresh trying to evade titan gunfire while also going after other pilots. Again I didn't play the first one but from what I have heard there wasn't titan customization as there are 6-8 different titan classes to choose from. Each one has their own strategic advantage and disadvantage so the playing field feels level. There are also more modes in multiplayer which is always a plus.
So Titanfall 2 is a big step up from its predecessor. It know includes a campaign and multiple modes and customization on their multiplayer. If you are looking for a great first person shooter this year this is the game to get.

It's a bit ironic that Infinite Warfare and Titanfall 2 came out in the same month due to the similar setting + gameplay and connected development teams. The more daring Titanfall 2 ultimately takes the lead as it has one of the most memorable singleplayer campaigns in the shooter scene this decade. The vapid story makes no sense whatsoever and some of the extremely varied mechanics could have been used longer too as the game constantly jumps in style. No other grievances exist though but the campaign is on the shorter side (using the hardest difficulty lead to an 7 hour game). The multiplayer is basically the same as last time, just with more mech variety. I honestly had my fill last time, as there were no other modes previously, and the majority of shooter gamers seem to share my opinion. It's certainly fun for a few rounds though. I hope that the series will get a 3rd chance, as the sales weren't too impressive, but Titanfall now fully proved itself as worth new IP. 8,5/10

This game is so close to perfect its unreal, unlike its predecessor, Titanfall 2 has a single player campaign. Its also for PS4 this time around, although I'm reviewing this from my xbox 1 experience. The campaign is short only 6 hours, but its full of jaw dropping action, stunts, wall running and boost jumping fun! You are rifleman Jack cooper, after your commanding officer is KIA, you must take control of his titan(mech) BT-7274, a loving, funny and all around awesome buddy. Its up to you both to team up, and save the universe. Multiplayer is amazing once again with its fast paced, fluid and 60fps greatness. Tons of customization and modes to choose from. Leveling up is nice and easy, 6 different titan loadouts to choose, plenty of weapons and abilities to unlock. Plus in the near future, EA has insured us that all DLC and maps will be FREE OF CHARGE! so get out there and rent it, buy it cause this game is 1 of a kind!

The campain of this game is so good and well made. iv'e played thru almost ten times and it never gets boring. the gameplay is also super well made and smooth and all the guns feel balanced and are fun to use, the multiplayere is still really good and it is even better now as it's been revived by the game being put on steam(and it's one of their best reviewed titles)
this is the best game that i've ever play and will forever stay that way.

I didn't have high expectations for Titanfall 2. Not because I had doubts, but I just didn't know what to expect. Being a PlayStation gamer, I didn't get to play the first entry, so I was surprised up in finding out that a PS4 release was included for this game. Instead of it being "just another shooter," it became one of my favorite multiplayer experiences.
It's also a nice surprise that a campaign is included unlike in the first game. And while it only lasts about 6 hours, it was fun. Very fun. Sure, it may feel cliche at times, but most of it was unique, action-packed, and enjoyable. The mix between pilot and Titan gameplay worked in the campaign just as well as it does in multiplayer. It may not be long enough to get you too attached to the characters, but it is definitely worthwhile, so I suggest not skipping it.
The multiplayer, however, is the reason to get this game. It is fast-paced, intense, and works well with teamwork. It may look Call of Duty-ish at first, but there are many ways players can work with teammates to succeed. In terms of content, guns are a bit on short supply, but there are ample maps and game modes, as well as seven Titans to choose from, and lots of customization. The game will keep you entertained for a while. Best of all, the DLC is all free.
So what is Titanfall 2 in one word? Awesome. It isn't perfect, as the campaign could have been longer, and the overall gameplay is a bit repetitive, but I have enjoyed it more than any Call of Duty game. It is a shame it didn't sell well, but at least it won the hearts of many gamers and nearly won the GOTY award. Highly recommended, 9/10.

Do note that this is solely based on the campaign.
Quick breakdown: + Pretty great graphics (for an almost 8 y.o game).
+ Fairly smooth controls, + The fights were entertaining.
All in all, feels like they could've done more.
Quick breakdown: + Pretty great graphics (for an almost 8 y.o game).
+ Fairly smooth controls, + The fights were entertaining.
- Very short, played through in less than 10 hours.
- Story not very fleshed out
- Dialogue options only prompted different replies (jokes vs "serious"). No consequences.
- Very repetitive, but being so short it didn't get old.
- Didn't get increasingly difficult. No character buildup, no HP/def/atk increase, just unlocked new weapon kits.
- Story a bit of a lackluster.
All in all, feels like they could've done more.

Having been a Titanfall veteran from the beginning, I was hesitant what they would do with a campaign, or the new titans, or pilots, or anything in general, but Respawn did not disappoint. The campaign, although short, tells a gripping story with many unique aspects put in that led me to play through the campaign more than once. The multiplayer, however, is even better. One of my favorite additions is sliding, which although doesn't sound like much on its own, makes the game's already excellent movement system even more fluid. All of the new abilities, the weapons, the grenades, all feel like real additions ad give one a lot more choice for finding the perfect play style than other games. And the titans... I originally thought only have 6 titans with limited customization was a bad idea, but upon using them, I find it to be much more fun, as you get to choose one that perfectly fits your play style, and also know how to deal with what you are going against. Overall, it is rare for a sequel to improve on the original in every way, but this is a rare exception. 10/10

Maybe the story is a little predictable and lackey, some of the characters are not that compelling, but it does deliver a nice execution of it. The game is HIGHLY engaging with creative action, the whole use of titans and the weapons, the level design and more. The main highlights in the presentation are the explosion effects and many of the fights execution, since, as I wrote before are very creative. If there is another issue with the game is that there are not many titans to play with and they are all look the same with many of the same weapons that can make them a bit repetitive. But, again, the execution of it is nice by connecting it to the main plot.
At the end: this is an amazing game that is very unlucky that not a lot of people played or heard of, especially with that stupid decision if E. A. But, again, at least there are other people like me that can HIGHLY recommend you playing it. It does have some minor problems with the story, characters and the titans are not very creative, but they are all minor problems comparing to that gem!

The Best FPS Since Halo Reach
Yeah, this game is a masterpiece in the FPS genre. Th gameplay is incredible, the gun play feels good, Titan combat is epic, and the wall running is addictively fun. You feel like a super soldier in this game and it is just too good. You have to experience this game play.
Graphically this game is beautiful. It looks great, the FPS is great, and the art style and world design is actually really cool.
As a sci-fi universe this game has great world building and interesting lore. Think space colonization and frontier planets with faction wars and military drama.
The campaign... is one of the best FPS campaigns, again since reach. Wow it is good! Boss battles, great and diverse level design, a good story, with some really touching moments. This is a must play for sure!
I just want Titanfall 3 from Respawn.
Also quick comment on Respawn, they are the best thing EA has going for them. This studio gave us Titanfall 1-2, Apex, and Starwars Jedi Fallen Order. What a quality studio!

I have played through the entire game and it has been incredibly fun. The multiplayer is great but the true experience comes in the campaign were you play as jack cooper who is a pilot. His titen, BT makes the game a complete masterpiece.

Titanfall 2 added a campaign that was so good it has to be played more than once. The multiplayer was also spectacular with new mechanics and customization integrated.
'Titanfall 2 (2016)' is a great first-person shooter. Its fast, fluid movement and precise, satisfying gun-play combine for an incredibly enjoyable experience. The campaign does a wonderful job of balancing the time you spend on foot with the time you spend in your Titan, an intelligent battle robot. These aspects feel distinct from one another, primarily in terms of speed and firepower. However, they are ultimately inseparable and are a large part of what makes the piece so successful overall. The story itself goes to great lengths to ensure you're connected to your specific Titan, BT, by giving him a distinct personality and allowing you limited yet important dialogue choices. It's a real 'buddy cop' situation and it works really well; you actually care about the hunk of metal. The plot is typical 'rookie becomes master' type stuff, filled with cliché mercenaries and 'save the world' stakes. Yet, it fits the game's aesthetic like a glove and is bizarrely satisfying, to boot. It's just fun. As is the multiplayer, which makes excellent use of its somewhat asymmetrical central dynamic. The time to death isn't too low, there are a variety of Titans to choose from and the on-foot movement is as quick and easy as it is in the campaign. Overall, the game is one of the best recent entries in its genre. 8/10

What an exhilarating journey it turned out to be!
The graphics were stunning, easily deserving a perfect score of 10.
Gameplay was top-notch as well, with fluid mechanics and engaging challenges, earning another solid 10.
While the music and story were both rated 8, they still contributed significantly to the overall experience, enhancing immersion and emotional investment.
The connection with the characters felt genuine, scoring an 8, making each encounter memorable.
Although the campaign was short, every moment was packed with excitement, especially the adrenaline-fueled titan battles and exhilarating wall-running sequences. Despite being an 8-year-old game, the shooting mechanics felt fresh and unmatched. Saying goodbye to BT is bittersweet, as their presence added depth to the narrative and gameplay. Truly, it was an unforgettable ride that will be dearly missed.

One of Titanfall's standout features is its exceptional optimization. Respawn Entertainment has crafted a game that runs like a dream even on lower-end PCs, ensuring that players with varying hardware setups can enjoy the game without sacrificing visual fidelity or smoothness. Whether you're piloting a towering Titan or engaging in parkour-inspired combat as a Pilot, the frame rates remain consistently high, contributing to a fluid and immersive experience. The game's engine efficiently balances graphical detail with performance, delivering stunning visuals while maintaining a rock-solid framerate, which is crucial for competitive multiplayer matches.
My pc has intel hd 520 and amd r5 m330 and this game of 2016 runs like butter smootth . This is just wow. And the game is fun . Funnnnn and the story is outstanding .
