Michele tells the other girls about a murder that took place in that region of Rio de Janeiro, where a young actress was killed by her co-star. What many don't know is that this fact is based on a true crime. In 1992, actor Guilherme de Pádua, along with his ex-wife Paula, murdered the actress Daniella Perez, who was acting in the telenovela - soap opera - De Corpo e Alma (1992). The couple used a pair of scissors in the crime and even though they were convicted, they did not serve the entire sentence that consisted of 19 years in prison; what revolted the country, which was already shocked and dismayed by such barbarism, since the motive for the crime was futile and torpid: Guilherme did not accept a no from Daniela, who at the time was already married with another actor.
