The comedy in this film was highly entertaining for the first sixty minutes, but it gradually lost its appeal afterward. The action sequences were decent, though I anticipated the intentionally absurd nature of the action given the comedic context.
The constant use of an orange filter throughout the movie was dreadful. It significantly detracted from the film's appearance, and the cinematography did little to improve it. There were also numerous unnecessary slow-motion shots, which were intended to add flair but instead had the opposite effect. The visual effects appeared quite cheap, aligning with my expectations.
Despite these shortcomings, seeing a group of top Indonesian stand-up comedians together on screen was heartwarming. Their camaraderie brought a sense of warmth to the film.
The story itself was surprisingly engaging. It was straightforward and unique, avoiding boredom while remaining entertaining with its unexpected twists.
However, I was most annoyed by the repetitive use of a particular piece of music that sounded like Wonder Woman's theme from Zack Snyder's Justice League whenever she appears.
Overall, the film is a chaotic and amusing experience that doesn't deserve the negative criticism it has received.
